I really like this razor it's not the closest shave that I've had but it works great it is a little noisy but it does the trick it's easy to hold on to I can get it in the shower quick and easy in and out I have an extra head that I alternate with and keep one clean while the other is ready to roll that's a nice little routine. This thing has some RPMs I think that's why it's so noisy but noise doesn't bother me I'm shaving my head I like machinery this thing is cool. I like loud scooters and cool machines this is something that scratches the itch for me so if you're into that yeah it's decent I don't know that anyone is better than any other I've had a couple different varieties. I normally don’t make reviews, but had to with this one!!! It’s so worth the investment. So much easier clean up. Shaving cream gone. Razor blades, gone. This does literally everything! And guys.. I mean EVERYTHING. There’s no place on your body that’s ISNT safe to cut. I love the trimmer too, I’m growing out my beard so the levels are perfect: they have 3 different levels. 3, 5 and 7. So if you’re going for that short to long style it’s perfect. The noise level is so quiet, the speed is ok. It’s not too fast, not to slow. So easy to use, plenty attachments.! This shaver worked well on my head, face and neck, and did a slightly better job adhering to the contours than my triple-header. The small size made it more difficult to transfer between hands. Also, the blade covers were difficult to pry open for cleaning, and they kept flipping closed. There did not seem to be any detente to hold the covers open while cleaning. I like this shaver, have tried a few others and this was the most comfortable in my hand and shaved as well or better than the rest. So nice I’m buying my 3rd. Problem, this is #3 in 3 years First just stopped working after 11 months Second is screwy, after 9 months it just turns itself on and off all of a sudden. No reason, randomly. Buy This Shaver!! This is my 3rd electric razor. I originally had the high dollar shaver with the celebrity name. It was a good razor but I left it charging too long and ruined the motor. I then tried the big 7 head razor. It was no good and sent back quickly. I was gonna go back to using a regular razor but I had to have rotator cuff surgery on my right arm so I had to find a new one. I chose the Freebird and I am so happy I did. The price is great. But the shave for an electric razor is awesome. If you want baby butt smooth then use a manual razor. I still do when I need a really smooth shave. But for every had shaving this one is great. PROS: Provides a very close shave, much better and quieter than the Chinese knockoff shaver I was previously using. Cleaning the shave head is much easier as well since it is a fully self contained part that can be removed from the main device for easy cleaning. CONS: I do wish the USB charging cable was a standard USB-C style charger instead of the proprietary style that comes with it. That would make it much easier for me to travel with it since I have plenty of spare USB-C cables when I travel. Also the device is a little boxy, not as contoured as my previous shaver so it's not as comfortable to hold as I would like. While it comes with attachments for nose trimming and beard/mustache trimming (with various sized guards), using the trimmer to shape edges of my beard or mustache is a little clunky dye to the position where the attachments are placed. Makes it hard to see where you are trimming. OVERALL: though I listed more CONS than PROS, I'm VERY happy with the product so far due to the quality and close shave I'm achieving on my scalp with the device. It performs the primary function very well and that's what matters most to me. Improvements to the accessories and contour would take it over the top. Read more
This razor is the best! Have owned many electric razors like this. And this is the best . Great value for how sharp this thing is. Super safe never cuts you and the power is unreal. Have owned the super expensive store bought ones ... Don't waste your money this cuts super close just like a regular razor. I use this for my head and it cuts it no problem! And I have thick hair. The battery life last along time and the shave is quick with no irritation. I will buy this again it broke and I purchased a 70$ one like this and paid the price for it . I bought this product in 10/24 - It functioned great and I shaved my head weekly with it. I was able to find replacement heads for it too - which worked out fantastic. I had only taken it in the shower a few times with me - (it claims to be water resistant) -- continued working fine until 8/25 -- The "chuckhead" (for lack of a better term) stopped moving. Basically useless and I need to get another one. Sadly the return policy is 30 days unless you buy into an extended warranty. Sad because I like the product and it's useful.
