My daughter had a difficult time finding uniform pants for school and finally found out these work perfectly for her. She did go up two sizes to accommodate her hips. (She’s typically a women’s 8/10.) The 14 was a tight fit but the 16 was comfortable so she kept the 16. She might need a belt once they stretch out a bit but loves them and they’re comfortable for a long day at school. Sizing tip: The 16 is not a typical women’s 16 sizing and it’s not a youth size 16 either. As someone who works in women’s retail I can safely say that this 16 can be compared to a women’s 10/12 bc of the straight cut. I recommend you size up twice to get a real comparison and then go from there. This is NOT women’s traditional sizing. Read more
