A lovely chair. I was surprised how well I fit in it. I'm 6'3" with minor back issues from a car accident years back. Sitting on a meditation cushion has been painful and recently simply unworkable. Sitting up in a chair wasn't great either, even w/ back support. This, so far, and it has only been a few weeks, is great. I meditate for an hour or more in a sitting 2-3x daily and this chair has been a lifesaver. The cushions are 100% adjustable, as is the level of recline. The butt pillow has my legs fold in a very natural, VERY comfortable position. As my left knee is shot and I can't do even 1/2 lotus anymore, this is very comfortable and relaxing. I'm not into material spirituality, but I figured I would be sitting in this seat for hours up hours every week, every month, every year, and it is portable. I wanted something that would be comfortable. It takes 30 sections to set up and break down and only another minute to pack it up. The material seems to be of decent, albeit thin stock. Thought it doesn't feel cheap, nor likely to tear. Whomever designed this did an amazing job and clearly knew human anatomy. My spine is straight and I can sit for an hour without pain. I gave this meditation seat a 5 because 98% of the total package is great. Great for good posture, to keep hip higher the the knees, back support to ensure that you head, neck and back are aline and straight, comfortable, like a said 98% gets an outstanding. The only problem is the carrying case. Very cheaply made, to hold such a great product. Carrying case tears easyly, it is like the makers of the chair degraded the quality of the chair by adding the cheaply made carring case. So, want a great chair to meditate, I recommend this one, It has worked for me and will work for many more meditation sessions to come, but, carrying case......well, they need to go back a meditate on redesigning the cover and making it stronger, out of canvus or leather or something. I recommend the seat to everyone who is practicing meditation, just remember the carrying case is a bommer. Read more

I had a few problems when I first got this item. The carry bag was torn and I saw a little rust looking dust. The company responded very promptly and cleared up any issues I had as well as sending a new improved bag. I just received the bag today and haven't tried it yet however it does look like it is of a better construction. Time will tell on that. The chair itself is amazing and very comfortable. I can sit in this much longer than on my standard cushion. I love the back support and that it is adjustable. This is a large chair for meditation however it is extremely comfortable and somewhat portable. It will definitely be put to use. Read more

I sometimes meditate 8-10 hours a day, 7 days a week. Its so important to be comfortable. I also have a long torso and am 6'3". This meditation chair works. I have tried others but always come back to this one. I have also taken it to India on meditation retreats. They include a travel bag. The bag is not the best but does the job. Had this chair for for a while now and it is GREAT for posture... I use it for my computer that i have set up on a coffee table and it actually started straightening my back out... I needed something like this cuz i always slouch and have respiratory issues and this is great for me and my breathing... Personally i use the little pillow it comes with and i cross my legs and it's perfect, but if you are a heavier set person then it may be more comfy without the little pillow, nonetheless still a great seat for floor sitting... I was worried the back of the chair wouldnt be able to support me but i was wrong... The back can take a *reasonable amount of pressure, but even if it didnt, with proper posture you shouldn't have to lean too hard against something with your back sitting up straight. Great quality materials and looks very nice! Update: had the chair for a while and let my brothers use it and they sat in it wrong like a recliner and after many weeks the backrest eventually gave out and collapsed... if ur looking for something that can take a lot of abuse, this is not it, but still was a nice chair to train sitting up straight and sitting properly, could use a tad bit better build design in the frame it prevent the metal from bending... This chair is comfortable, very big, and a little heavy to drag around. I would definitely recommend this for a stable home placement, not the best for toting around from yoga studio to yoga studio… you can do it, but it is large! More like furniture piece. But overall seems very sturdy and perfect for comfortable meditation! Read more
