I was looking for thread that are good and not too expensive for cross stitching, and I am soooo happy I came across these. Despite some other people mentioning that these are not good for embroidery, they’re great. The thread will tangle only if you take too long of a piece, other that that, it does not. The quality is great, feels very nice to the touch and easy to separate to threads. The color variety is great, I just wish there would be at least one grey color skein, but it’s not a big deal. It’s a bit hard to find the start of the thread on some of these but overall still worth the money and the struggle of detangling if you start with the wrong end of the string. These were exactly what I was expecting. While they are solid quality for embroidery thread I used them to make friendship bracelets, as seen in the picture. They are soft and since they are Cotton yarn they are very pliable. The color are a mix of vivid and eye catching and also soft and pretty depending on which point in the spectrum you are. All of my knots have easily held together, which was a big deal. There was no weird smell to them which can sometimes be a risk. There is also a clear difference in the shades. I purchased these for embroidery and bead making for myself and my granddaughter. They arrived in a vacuum-packed bag which was good to prevent damage and odors. There is a very nice color variety as shown in the descriptive picture. The string is very soft to touch which will help when it encounters the skin during wear.
