I recently installed the Frizzlife Under Sink Water Filter System, and it has exceeded my expectations! This filter system is NSF/ANSI 53 & 42 certified, ensuring that it effectively removes contaminants while enhancing the taste and quality of my drinking water. The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free, taking less than an hour. The clear instructions made it easy to connect the system to my existing plumbing without the need for professional help. I love that it doesn’t take up much space under the sink, leaving room for other essentials. Since installing the filter, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the taste of our tap water. The water tastes fresh and clean, and I feel much more confident about the quality of what I’m drinking. The filtration system effectively reduces chlorine, heavy metals, and other impurities, which is crucial for my family’s health. Another feature I appreciate is the filter replacement indicator, which makes it easy to know when it’s time for a change. This system not only saves us money on bottled water but also contributes to reducing plastic waste. If you’re looking for a reliable and efficient under sink water filter system, I highly recommend the Frizzlife Under Sink Water Filter System. It’s a great investment for anyone wanting to improve their water quality! Read more

I got this MK99 around 2 weeks ago, went with Frizzlife brand search and directly bought this one as my friend told me that I might want to try this filter, so yes, she got one and now I have one too. Ok, I will share for now why it’s worthy a 5 star! Star 1, the packaging of the product is with a decent pack, not luxury but very neat! LOVE Star 2, with the help of instruction and the YouTube installation video, the installation is without a hitch, it’s amazing that I don’t need a plumber to do this, Installation took me 7 minutes and 16 seconds, LOVE Star 3, the water taste is just like a real water it should be, orderless and taste great! 1000 times better!! Use test kit for the chlorine and LEAD, it’s just work as described. LOVE Star 4, for how convenient it is to replace the filter, the cost of replacement is very reasonable, no more Brita and no more struggling for the refrigerator filter. I tried twist off the container without shutting off the valve, it’s amazing that no water come out from the head, what a technology!! LOVE Star 5, I suppose this will for the customer service, my first test was using TDS meter, not happy with the result, emailed the company and they are sooo quick to help me out and NOW I KNOW WHY, searched from google as well, TDS is only used for Reverse Osmosis system and to check how good the RO does, but RO has no mineral in water , that’s why. The water from the Frizzlife MK99 leaves all essential minerals in the water, which is very good!! LOVE Overall, I highly recommend! And hope my review is helpful for everyone who is still hesitating whether to buy. Read more

I've had this filter for 6+ months now and felt like it was time to put in a review. First things first, you should never trust a review from someone who just installed a consumable system like a water filter, as it will typically perform very well initially and issues arise down the line. Let's start with the good here: It's inexpensive for the advertised flow rate - this is one of the only filters on the market that advertises over 2gpm, and it is capable of reaching that with a brand new filter. However, at least with our water source (New York City), that performance degrades SUBSTANTIALLY after a few weeks, to the point where it gets down to a trickle. Frizzlife stood behind their product and sent a second filter, but the same thing happened again within a few weeks so it seems our water's particular composition and this type of filter media don't play nicely together. I solved for this by installing a pressurized water tank in line after the filter stage, more commonly used with Reverse Osmosis systems (but works perfectly here as well) so that the first quarter gallon is full speed ahead even with the water supply shut totally off (and the tank refills as it dispenses) - this has resolved my flow rate issues permanently. Good quality metal hoses are included, but unfortunately that's more of a problem for me because my existing water filter connection requires push to connect plastic fittings. I fashioned an adapter from a 3/8 NPT to 1/4" push-to-connect after the tank stage to address this, but it would be nice if they included a few adapters in the box because they're surprisingly hard to find but cost next to nothing. It's definitely doing something! Take a look at the picture above, about 5 months after the filter was installed it's absolutely disgusting looking with the color of a cigarette filter. This will not lower your TDS reading, and they're very clear about that, but the drinking water it produces tastes good and clearly lacks the nasty stuff it's pulled out above. Now, let's talk about the bad parts: This is only a direct connection if you have the rare filtered water spout that accepts a 3/8" NPT or 1/2" NPT connection, as these are the only connectors and adapters provided. If you look at any of the most popular filtered water faucets sold on Amazon, the vast majority use 1/4" quick connect push-to-fit connections. Whether or not you think there are long term reliability issues with such connections, that is what most people already have in place, meaning you're headed to the hardware store to try to rig together some kind of adapter, which is likely to have more leak potential than a direct connection. They should at least include adapters they've tested and endorse in the package to avoid this. Removing the filter assembly from the bracket is super easy, it rotates out and twists off - anyone can do this. However, you haven't changed your filter at that point... this is not a drop in replacement - they sell the inner filter medium by itself, and include a special plastic wrench for opening the filter assembly housing to replace the medium. This works great when it's new, but when I went to change filters (see above) it would not budge under any circumstances - I put it in a vice and used a mallet to the point that the plastic wrench started to strip. I ended up having to buy a set of oil filter pliers to counterhold and twist, and finally was able to open it, but this is exponentially more difficult and time consuming than a system like 3m Filterete where the replacement filters come ready to screw in. I get that it saves plastic and likely benefits the environment, but man, their implementation is not up to the task. Tl;dr? Good performance for the money but changing filters sucks and it doesn't come with what you need to connect to the vast majority of filtered water faucets, ice maker lines and other things you might need filtered water for. I wouldn't buy it again but I'm also not going out of my way to replace it now that it's plumbed in. Read more
