To call this a "door mat" feels so understated! It is absolutely top-notch, high-quality, and the best-performing door mat I've owned. It is the type you might see at the entrance of a high end retail store or gallery, where you know it can endure a lot of foot traffic under every type of environmental condition. At home, it maintains the same low-profile, professional appearance and performance at the entrance of your front door, back patio, or wherever you may use it. Other than the initial "new rubber smell" scent that is hardly noticeable when fresh out of the package, it has no lingering or offensive smell at all, as some lower quality rubber-based mats often do. I accidentally left it out in the rain one day, and by the next morning it was bone-dry and looking just as new as the day before. The fabric is tightly woven and works to capture leaves and debris - both with and without your help. The rubber backing/foundation and texturized fabric help keep it from moving from its original position and to prevent slips and falls when rainy, icy, muddy, etc. It's large size and heavy weight also make it ideal for large entrances and keep the corners from folding up into an unsafe trip hazard. I absolutely love this thing! I currently keep it at our back entrance in a large enclosed patio space. For its size, quality, performance, and reliability, the price tag is also a great value. I highly recommend it! Read more

I think if it was not under a roof and stormy weather was the condition, it would be tossed around. But I still like the rug, it’s nice looking. Read more
