The boxers arrived quickly and I got just what I ordered. My size was kind of borderline between M and L, and I got the larger, which was the right choice. The fit is good. When you order, take note of the knit version versus the woven version. The knit ones are the solid colors and are different from the plaid woven boxers. The woven are thinner and are more comfortable, imho. As for colors, the ones I received look just like the picture. They have two seams in the back, not a seam in the middle. Mine did not bleed colors in the laundry. The waistband is quite comfortable. They DO have a tag - it is glued in the back, just below the waistband. I don't notice it at all, though. All in all, a good purchase. Recommended. Read more

These definitely run smaller than the advertised size. I am a 33" waist and I purchased the large size pack of boxers(which state on the package to be 36"-38"). I panicked a little bit when I saw that on the front of the package. However, these boxers actually fit me almost perfectly. After a few washes they'll be a perfect fit. They are definitely more comfortable than those nasty canvas style material boxers. They also don't feel cheap or itchy at all. I would strongly recommend these to men who prefer slightly looser and more comfortable boxers over tighter briefs. These are probably some of the cheapest and most comfortable boxers that I have seen. I would strongly recommend at least buying a package to see how you may like them. Read more

These fit well and are comfortable. However, the colors aren't what I wanted. While I understand that the listing states "assorted", one would believe that was regarding the assortment within the package, not totally different colors than what the image portrays. I wanted muted OD greens and such, but got red, light teal, light gray, navy blue and light blue. Other than the color discrepancy, they are really decent underwear. There is no real support for your "junk" and if you leave them unbuttoned, don't expect to walk around in front of your kids in them. I'm used to boxer briefs, so I knew these would perform differently. The waistband is really nice, padded and functional, and the cotton is really soft. Overall, these are a better deal than buying them retail, where you would pay 100-200% more. Docked 1 star due to the misleading image/color discrepancy. Read more

These are a great fit and comfortable as well as a great value. First I bought XXXL Chinese in a 12-pack for about $20. Too big although the comments said that they run small. Then I bought XXL Chinese 15-pack for about $20 (seemed like an even better value). Too small. Finally, having had experience with both Hanes and Fruit of the Loom XXL purchased at local retailers, I bought this 5-pack for about $15 (about what a 3-pack costs at a local retailer). Still, a great value but, even better, they fit properly and are comfortable. No complaints; not even the complaints on this site that the fabric is too thin. Here in Scottsdale, AZ where temperatures exceed 110F in the summer, the light weight is especially welcome. At $3 a pair, why worry if they do not last for 100 washings (and who is to say they will not)? I do recommend these boxers. Read more

FOTL's Tartan Woven Boxers haven't changed much throughout the years and that's a good thing. When I was young, this was the brand mom always use to get for me so, I grew up on FOTL. I've moved on from the briefs to the boxers in my older age but quality hasn't deminished one bit, still as reliable as always. I tried changing a few years back to a competitors brand and, though comfort was just as good, the waistband for some reason kept curling up on me(must be that little bit extra I've gained throughout the years). FOTL does seem to fold over at the waistband at times but, with my exceptional physique(not!), it's expected anfd, I'm certain it would be expected with any brand I purchase. The competitors brand however, curled to the point where I would get a self inflicted wedgie(wooohh nelly!) and constantly had to be adjusting the waistband. In any event, i've really never encountered any curling with FOTL. IMO, I guess it would also be a matter of preference for the user. All in all, very pleased with the brand and my purchase. Nice selection of colors as well. Liked them so much, I immediately purchased an additional 2 - 5 packs. Read more

This is the first time I have bought underwear in any place other than a retail store. Knowing the brand name is Fruit of the Loom was reassuring and the price is pretty enticing for 5 pair ... close to what one pair costs at the store I usually shop at. The fit is "as expected" - in other words no surprises. The fabric feels nearly identical to underwear that cost a lot more at the retail store. It is lightweight for comfort but heavy enough to feel durable. Some have mentioned they think they are slightly shorter than some other brands. That is something only the wearer can decide how comfortable they feel. If anything I felt that the length was slightly longer than average, not by much, but certainly not short. The photo shows how far down they hang. As far as the color's that were received, well again that is personal choice. My order was not as muted as the sample illustration shown at the seller's page; they are purple, light gray, dark blue, pale green and soft red, all attractive and contemporary colors. I can't see negatively rating an otherwise fine product because of the colors that were shipped - the seller makes it very clear that returns are accepted, so if the buyer doesn't like them all they have to do is ship them back. Everyone has their own personal preference about the subject of underwear, so hopefully the above information helps point you in the right direction. For this reviewer they are an exceptionally good value at the selling price and are a 5-star product. Read more
