My old boxers were so worn that after a recent medical examination my doctor suggested a local clothing bank where I could find used clothing. Not nonplussed, I knew the place for me was not the local homeless shelter but Amazon where right next to the New York Best Sellers, (remember when Amazon sold books?) were the best selling boxers, all in a row accompanied by yellow stars. There were boxers is all shapes, sizes, colors and descriptions. I was not looking for something fancy to show off in a selfie on Reddit but just something to keep the boys aligned, loose and happy, plus I take an XL and am short so the selfie would only be appreciated by my sleeping Springer Spaniel. I settled on the Fruit of the Loom Men's 5-pack soft stretch knit boxer, colors may vary and there is polysester in the grey if that should happen to show up in your package. The boxers arived so quickly I had no need to change the old ones I was wearing before the new ones arrived. I immediatly stripped down, well not until the UPS driver left, remember, I am a short XL, and opened the package to choose my color of the day. Standing at the dinning room table pantless, I layed out the five colors and decided to day woud be red. I slipped on the red pair and took a stroll around the house. Now, I like many others, have a house which allows one to stroll in a complete circle and I,like most people, always stroll counter clock-wise. This time I strolled clock-wise without even realizing that the door ususally on my left was now on the right. My life had been turned inside out. I was living in reverse but not going backwards. That night when I took off my new red boxers all returned to normal. The next day I chose the olive green boxers, carefully checked the label and slipped them on. Immediatly life began topsy-turvy again. I took the boxers off and the world returned to normal. I am not one to experience out of body experiences, mostly I am a normal type short XL guy, well there was that one time but it is best saved for another review. Standing in my bedroom pantless and boxerless, I noticed the button on the fly of the Fruit of the Loom Men's 5-pack soft knit boxers- colors may vary and the grey does have polyster, was on the inside and the stiches were also on the inside. But the label was on the outside. Folks, fellow men of the boxer set beware these wondefully comfortable boxers can make you live life inside out.The label, yes the label which says Fruit of the Loom goes on the outside! Failure to notice this and observe proper label placement may cause clockwise house strolling. With this knowledge fully understood I award these boxers 5 stars and am now living a whole new life inside out. What a deal. Read more

Comfortable, with no scratchy tags or waistband. Not the best choice for my hot climate (in Central America), but they are easily the most comfortable cotton boxers if you factor in that most brands use tags or waistbands that are less comfortable. For the same price I spent on these five boxers ($27.94), I was able to order my GF eighteen (18) pairs of her underwear. That's three six-packs of underwear for the same price I was able to purchase this pack of five. Granted, these have twice the fabric, but I see no reason this product couldn't be selling for $10. I bought these back in August 2017. I always wait a while until I do a review of a product because so much these days seems good at first but then after a while you realize it's junk. These are VERY GOOD QUALITY. They have held up to being washed one to two times a week for the last 5 months and still look brand new. The size is generous but not "too" generous. The fit is just right to what I like, and the material is thick but not too thick, just thick enough for it to be of better quality. The band is comfortable, sturdy, and more than adequate. I'm very content with my purchase... which is something I rarely get to say these days. Read more

After returning from a long trip for which I got rid of all of my belongings all the way down to 2 pairs of ExOfficio underwear, I thought that I should return to the world of cotton. These seemed to be the best bang for the buck and have some good reviews. They are super comfortable and seem to be holding up quite well to frequent washing. I agree with one of the other reviewers who mentioned the fact that the cloth / elastic waist band is rather bulky. It does seem like it would have been much better if they just sewed the internal band right onto the soft cotton bottom (the way Calvin Klein boxers do... or at least used to from what I remember). Fruit of the Loom could have even embroidered their name into that waist elastic like other companies do instead of having a silly little tag in the front. This also would have saved materials cost. Anyway, less about branding and more about comfort. My wife borrowed a pair to sleep in and liked them so much that we ended up ordering another pack so that we wouldn't have to do the laundry so often. Read more

I decided to add more boxers to my underwear rotation and gave these a try because of the description as soft, comfortable and economically priced. Upon arrival I was happy with the material and the workmanship, but when I wore them I discovered that the crotch area was more binding that any boxer I have worn before. As a side note, I am between two sizes, so I ordered the larger size just to be safe. In all other aspects they are proportionally sized or even a bit loose. The legs were wide enough but the crotch section was higher up than expected, which is not providing the "boxer" freedom that I was looking for. While they are as soft as described and if I am not doing a lot of walking I can tolerate the crotch issue, I will not be buying this item again. I also purchased another brand (Calvin Klein boxers) that was more expensive but is providing the fit expected and are more stylish and of higher quality. You get what you pay for. Read more
