I am almost a 32B. That size in a bra of this design is virtually impossible to find. I purchased the nude/black 2 pack in a 34B and hoped for the best. I’m quite surprised that these bras actually feel a little bit snug. It could be the design since I am not used to a bra style that gives the girls a little bit of lift with a small pad that fits directly under the breast near the chest wall. The cup fits perfectly, it’s the band that is a bit tight. I purchased these to wear on special occasions when I go out so I’m going to keep them with the realization that I won’t be wearing them on a daily basis. If you plan on wearing this bra on a regular basis I would recommend sizing up in the band length. Read more
Review is by Mrs. JL, not J. Lockwood (he doesn't wear bras, but we share an account, so his name always shows). First off, didn't like the metal in the adjustable straps, nor the narrow back with a 3-hook fastener. Guess i got too used to the sport version. I measure 38" where the band goes, but in the sport version (really just a light pullover bra with removable "cookies" in the pockets) a 38" band is way too tight, and the cups too small. I measure close to 44" across the bust, so not a surprise. While I can wear the 40" band, it's a little light, and again the cups are too small, so I usually end up with a 42, which is a bit big but wearable and comfortable around the house. According to the chart, in this style by the same company and based on experience, etc., I should wear a 40 D so that's what I ordered. OMG! The cups were way too big and too far apart with a comical effect (like a cross between a pouter pigeon and a cartoon Wagnerian opera singer/ Bugs Bunny). I have a medium frame and wore a 36 C when I was younger, BTW; my frame hasn't changed, nor my (ahem) spacing. I have always been a bit hard to fit properly, but still .... Obviously this is a much less forgiving fit than I generally find acceptable, so I'll keep looking. Read more
I love these bras! I bought them years ago and they have changed slightly, but only for the better (the old ones had two hooks in the back and these have three). They are incredibly comfortable and give great support with no underwire. Read more
I read a lot of reviews before ordering this set of 38B bras (1 black/ 1 beige). The reviews were all over the place, with fit being a common concern. Some said the cups were huge, some said small, and many complained of the too-tight band. But I trust Fruit of the Loom and need a cotton bra due to allergies. Although every bra I own is a 36C, I felt safe with the 38B- should. have given me a larger band and a somewhat more snug cup, which is fine. I got the bras today and the fit is ridiculous. The "38" band barely closes and the "34" cups are much too large. They also have a dimpling which I imagine would smooth out if I were a much bustier. Still, I put the bras on, thinking I could get an extender and perhaps the cups would shrink a bit in the wash- But, holy cow! They gave me a silly look straight out of a Madonna video. Breasts pointed up and a shape not found in nature. The material looks good, the bras seem well made, and the interior padding, as promised is cotton. The straps fit well and the underband looks like it would be comfortable if it fit. I'm very disappointed in this purchase because I like the look of these bras. Too much trouble to send them back, so I'll probably donate them since it's likely my body will morph into one with a very thin core with very large breasts. This bra might be a good idea for a voluptuous woman but watch the band size. Do not recommend it. Read more
