Fruit of the loom is a name I grew up with and I’m 73 now. We’ve been getting some serious cold snaps and coming from Florida the past 25 years of living has made me wimpy. When I was looking for longjohns as they used to be called, this was who I was happy to say. The only thing I have to say is it runs extremely small. Normally, I wear extra large or extra extra, but I looked at their chart and ordered 3X. I could’ve had a 2X maybe I think I would’ve bought a four if I thought it was longer. I’m not happy with the sizing that they seem to be putting out now. Other than that fruit of the loom is still awesome. The weave and material is great and it still has the quality it’s only the sizing I don’t like. A material is soft hopefully it washes well. Comfortable I have it on right now. It just came earlier today lol I bought purple. It’s a very deep blue purple very pretty not that anyone will see it. Right now I don’t need a layer, but it’s thin enough to go under a sweater or even another type of top without bulk and I believe it will be really comfortable so you can layer it. I’m looking forward to feeling cozy warm now and probably will buy more. We had several months of 110° so I wasn’t expecting this weather. Read more

This thermal set fits true-to-size. The material is thin, but warm and very confortable. I love the merlot heather color. I also bought the animal print in the same order, SAME SIZE. However, the animal print fit MUCH more snuggly than the merlot and the length of the pants is SHORTER. I cannot return them, because I always wash new clothing before wearing them. Have no idea why there would be such a difference, but there definitely is. SIZE VARIATION within the SAME company drives me crazy and is unacceptable. They must do better with quality control. For me, these make the difference between a comfortable winter and a miserable one. I hate to feel bundled up, so I wear these light layers under my ordinary clothes, including nightclothes, and it makes a huge difference. Be aware, they are body-hugging because they are meant as undergarments. My mother wanted to use them as pajamas, and found them too tight for that. We had to order a size up for her. But I like them as they are meant to be so that I can wear my ordinary clothing over them. The finish is rather careless, since they won't be seen, but that also means that seams sometimes rip out. I can fix these easily, but if mending turns you off, better invest in some UnderArmor or something similar. Read more

These are exactly what i was looking for. They are comfortable and fit very well. A little tight 'round the knees but im standing all day so i dont mind. They keep me so warm! The color is what i wanted, wish i could get some with skulls on them though. These are good to go under anything pretty much. Keeps me warm even with a lighter layer on top. Read more

I ordered the Fair Isle Print. Very cute winter print. Beware, this set was extremely narrow. Size up TWICE, I am not joking you. Wash gentle cycle, cold water, and line dry. That way the set will not shrink on you. Read more

I wanted some thermals to wear around the house while I'm lounging because they feel cozy. I don't need them for layering and I don't wear full shirt and pants to sleep so it wasn't for that either. I normally wear a small (sometimes XS depending on brand) so I ordered these in a Small as well. The fit was.. strange. The pants mostly fit. The waistband is really skinny but the pants go mid to high mid depending on your height since the crotch area kind of drops. The weird thing was that the crotch felt kind of reinforced, like the stitching or material was different. The calf and ankle area were tight. I'm short so they did have some bunching at the bottom but since I'm not layering or leaving the house I didn't mind. The worst part was the shirt. I felt like I was going to hulk out of it. I barely could slide my arms in, they especially got stuck on my forearms and I don’t even have large forearms. The sleeve got twisted when I put it on and they were so tight I couldn't adjust them lol. The torso and neck area were fine but the sleeves were trash. I exchanged the set for a Medium so I'm waiting on that - hopefully it fits like normal sized clothing otherwise I'm returning it. Then 2 stars instead of 3 for the inconsistent sizes. In sum, if you need a lounge outfit this is fine. Possibly even ok for undergarments in sub 50° weather if you get really cold. Negative temps, probably not as helpful since it is relatively thin material, kinda like a wife beater tank top. Size is awkward as many reviews also say too large or too small. At this price seems worth the risk. Read more

Don't waste your money. Fruit of the Loom's quality is gone. I saw other remarks about buying them at least 2 sizes bigger. The top is like a 2 XL and the bottoms are huge. Plus, they are so thin, they are worthless. Unfortunately, I purchased 3 sets of these atrocious thermal (hahahaha) underwear. Read more

Very nice! Thin but great warmth. Wore them Idaho’s in 32 degree weather under everyday clothing. Didn’t add bulk but added a lot of warmth! I will buy more. Read more
