Careful-Initially not recognized by either my iMac nor my XP because it was not ore-formatted. I partitioned and formatted in NTFS, exFAT, and finally in Fat32 on a new Mac.successfully, as my old mac will not write to NTFS and does not recognize exFAT at all. I will use it as a data transfer device between various types of computers, and as a backup drive for my old laptops. Read more
Used this to replace a WD replacement hard drive for my Gateway laptop that crashed just over the one year mark after installation. I did not have the spare cash or inclination to get another hard drive with the same GB number so this seemed like a good stopgap. It installed just fine, loaded my software without a hitch, and so far works just fine. No problems, no hiccups, this will be just great untl I can afford a new computer. Read more
