My cat loves this hammock. Easy to assemble and sturdy (no wobbling). After about two years of use, the fabric part started pulling apart at the seam. Easy to assemble and is quite sturdy. My cat sleeps in it all the time. I bought this to go over a floor vent that my cat would sleep directly on which restricted the room from getting heat. This hammock gets more like 4.5 stars. My cats have several options when deciding where to nap. Many of them choose this bed, on the off chance it isn’t already occupied. Assembly was easy. I only have two minor complaints. One is that the fabric is a little on the rough side, but with their fur I don’t know if it matters to the cats. The other thing is that it doesn’t come with any floor pads or feet. I have hardwood floors and this thing slides every time a cat jumps up on it. I will need to go out and find some type of feet to add to the bottom to keep it from sliding. Since the frame is bare wood, it would be nice if something was included. The media could not be loaded. Easy enough to put together. Took about 6 minutes. It’s pretty sturdy, I don’t know if it’d support my 15 pound boy but it’s fine with the kittens. They have a proper sun bathing spot and a front row seat to the bird feeder. Read more
I was prepared for the possibility that the fabric might a cheaper, thinner canvas-type material, but it's densely woven cotton. I think it will hold up well over time, but the main thing is that it can actually support a cat's weight. My cat took to this bed right away, much to my surprise. Does he lie on it? No, not really.
