I had some concerns about the magnetic mounts, but they were put to rest. When I installed the lights. The magnets are very strong and hold the light in place no problem at all. I wall mounted mine and the walls are textured so I couldn't count on the adhesive backing on the mounting plates. But I went ahead and used Molly's and took the a protective cover off of the adhesive amounts and mounted them and so far, no problem whatsoever. The light has 3 levels of brightness, and overall, they are very bright. And it illuminates my laundry room as well as an adjoining room in which I installed a second light, and it illuminates both rooms very well. The remote control is very nice for initial setup but after I got the setup completed, I didn't really need them except for making minor adjustments. In other words, out having to take the light down. The movement sensor works extremely well and is not overly sensitive, matter of fact it's exactly what I was hoping for as far as sensitivity. One of the things of beauty is the fact that it is rechargeable and you don't have to fool around changing batteries every month or two, just pull it down, recharge it and put it back up. I bought the 12000 milliamp hour version. And it only took an hour or so to charge up out of the box. And I anticipate not having to recharge the battery for at least a couple or three months in spite of the fact that both of the lights are in high traffic areas. Great product, I use them for workbench lights. Magnets are impressively strong. Great output for a battery device and it lasts many hours even on max brightness. Its only real weakness is the long charge rate of 7 hours (due to having such a large internal battery) but they solved this issue too by just giving you two of them for the price. I have four at this point and keep one on a charger and cycle them when necessary. I really like being able to change the color temperature too, fantastic feature for a wardrobe/closet/safe. Even the motion sensor works competently and these units also work surprisingly well as emergency lights for areas you may need to access during an outage. Excellent option for when you would like a light source on the ceiling in a dim spot in your room or closet without having to install anything. You just stick the adhesive metal bar and this attaches and holds via magnets. The light is surprisingly light. You will be able to see the individual LEDs, it's not a smooth, uniform light like in the picture, but it's still excellent. Has an auto-shut off censor when you're not by it, and when you walk in front it turns on. Very handy, though not sure how to set this. Comes with a remote to adjust the brightness and warmth. Also unsure of how long battery will last, but with how easy it is to take it off and charge it via USB-C, it's very nice and I would recommend. Read more

I have been looking for quite some time for a bright battery operated light for a dark area of my garage. I was surprised to find that this light really does the job. I used the included adhesive ceiling mount on an old rough cement plaster garage ceiling. So far, seems to be adhering well. The remote switch is very convenient and works anywhere in my garage. Very nice light! Magnets hold light in place. Light is plenty bright. We use it in our front hall closet. Motion sensor is a little sensitive but that was an easy fix. We just put a piece of tape over half of the sensor so it only picks up our moment when we are getting something out of the closet. Otherwise it would sense us walking by and turn on.
