Beautiful Bag
I initially ordered the 18" bag bc my husband has a 17" computer. I ended up returning it bc it was so big. This isn't a fault of the bag. If you're looking for a bag to fit a large computer the 18" fits the bill. I ended up letting my husband see it, to see if he thought it was too big. He told me he was getting a new work computer and he decided the 16" bag was the way to go. As an interior designer and furniture buyer I know and appreciate the different types of leather. The bag has quality, top grain leather, that seems to most likely be a semi-anline, which is my preferred leather, as it shows more of the characteristics of the hide, which are hidden in other finish methods. I like that superficial scratches can be buffed out of anline. It should be noted that all leather should be conditioned at least every 6 mos to prevent it from becoming dry and cracking. This is especially true of anline as it is water resistant, but not as much so as other types of leather. The conditioner adds extra protection. I did condition it upon arrival which softened it and give it just a little bit less rustic look, which I prefer on this piece. My husband liked the room and the pouches and mentioned he was glad it had 2 separate zippered compartments. The computer compartment is lined. I tested all the zipper and they seem sturdy and none of them stuck. It's a high quality bag for the price point. It smells like leather. Read more
