This bed is composed of sturdy, strong components and a high quality, thick gorgeous fabric. I brought a tool box for assembly, but only needed the Allen wrench that was provided with the bed. The instructions were clear and easy, allowing me to assemble it full in less than one hour and I have never assembled furniture in my life! It looks expensive and luxurious. It is sturdy. A queen box spring and mattress fits in the frame, as well as a sleep number platform and mattress. There is no squeak or movement in the base of the bed.
