It does drip like other glue guns but that is not a deal breaker. I wish it would've came with a drip piece, No issues with inserting a new glue stick. The cheap glue guns take forever to heat up and then get so hot that they boil the glue. This glue gun has temperature control so it heats up fast and the glue stays at the right temperature. I set it at 180C and it takes about 4 minutes to heat up, then it can spit out a lot of glue; great for big jobs. For small jobs I have a battery powered mini glue gun; it heats up faster and is more precise. Read more

The only good thing about this gun is that it gets very hot and can easily feed multiple sticks as quick as you want, without skipping a beat. Unfortunately, that is shadowed by temperamental functionality, low quality tips, and a frustrating temperature knob. Within my first week using it, the elongated tip broke. (Separated from the base of the tip) I reached out to the seller, and kudos to them for quickly responding and sending a replacement. Now, a couple months later, the gun decides when it wants to work. Have a feeling it’s the potentiometer/temp control knob, as when I fiddle with it, I can sometimes get it to work. Not sure if I got a defective unit, but not thrilled with the product. Read more
