Ok, I've tried a lot of different collagens. A LOT. (56 and not loving the aging and the joint creaks). Most of them taste like ground up rawhide. So I was beyond happy when I tasted FullWell's Collagen Peptides. PROS: This collagen has almost no taste at all, so it's super easy to add to anything and everythingAs far as plain, unflavored collagen, this is definitely the best tasting one I've tried. It also mixes like a dream. You can stir it right into your drink (hot OR COLD) and it mixes right in. No clumps, no blender or shaker ball required. You can also even bake with it, or toss it into a salad or whatever else you're eating. What's also great is that they use the most bioavailable form of collagen, types 1 and 3 (what you want) and their collagen comes only from grass-fed beef. They also do a ton of testing to make sure it's safe even for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Finally, FullWell also makes their testing results available (for your bottle) if you want to read them, which most companies would NEVER do. You can literally just ask them and they'll share the report. I already knew that FullWell make really high quality supplements for things like fertility and pregnant women, and they have a stellar reputation for how they make their products and how clean they are. That's one of the reasons I wanted to try their collagen - I figured that, if it came from these guys, it was going to be really good. CONS: FullWell a little more expensive than some companies, and that's true for this product, too. That said, this collagen is on par with other well-known brands, when you actually look at the per-ounce price. I know FullWell is at the higher end of pricing because of how they source their ingredients and how safe and effective their stuff is. I specifically asked if this product was safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding. When I got home, I read the box and it clearly says to check with your gynecologist before use — it does NOT say anywhere that it’s safe during pregnancy. This is misleading and could put mothers and babies at risk. Please give accurate information to customers, especially on health-related products. Read more
