This review is for the FUNAN Face Sunscreen SPF 50. This sunscreen is creamy, lightweight, and so far has prevented my face from getting any sun exposure or sunburn. It feels great on my skin, although my face tends to get sweaty in humid weather and the sunscreen runs in my eyes and stings. I recommend this sunscreen if you want a moisturizing sun protection product, but I don't recommend it if you live in a got and humid environment. Read more

I’ve been using this sunscreen for a few weeks now, mostly during outdoor workouts and running errands, and it’s holding up really well in the sun. The texture feels more like a serum than a heavy cream, which makes it easy to spread across my face without needing a ton of effort to rub it in. There’s a subtle tone-up effect, and while it doesn’t drastically change skin tone, it does help even things out a bit without looking chalky. I have combination skin and it didn’t clog my pores or leave a greasy layer. I also didn’t notice any white cast, which is a win for me. The bottle is small, which is great for tossing into a gym or travel bag, though I can see it running out faster than a standard-size product if you use it daily on your face and neck. Still, for something oil-free and fragrance-light, it’s a good fit for sensitive skin. This sunscreen comes in a smaller bottle than I anticipated, but its really quite effective. I applied to my face and neck and immediately got into the pool. 2 hours went by and I decided to reapply because I was feeling like I may be cooking under the Florida Sun. I reapplied, and we spent several more hours outside. Its now the next day and zero sunburn at all, even with just 2 applications throughout the whole day outside. So, I would definitely recommend for its effectiveness. It goes on like a typical sunscreen, kind of thick and leaves a white film on you. After rubbing it in really good, the white does blend in though. Whether you take that time to really blend it in, is up to you. Either way, the sunscreen works well and is good for sensitive skin like mine. I personally did not find the bottle hard to use/hard to apply. I feel like the little spout on top made it easier to just squirt directly on the area vs putting it in your hands first. It smells good, like a flowery sunscreen scent. Read more

What a brilliant combination.. sunscreen w/ a toning agent. I have been wearing this in major heat and humidity while playing tennis and pickleball. It has HELD UP every time, actually much BETTER than my standard sunscreens. My other ones drip white as I sweat, on my face... this one does not! Even when I can feel the sweat dripping like tears....it's so hot here, it's not dripping white sunscreen. This is FANtastic! The bottle size is perfect for your court or beach bag, or even your purse. It's a compact, smaller size. Super easy to apply and no worry of leaks. 10/10 for this stuff... well done (the photo is AFTER tennis... I still have a great coating of SPF and no streaking.) Read more

I love the texture of this sunscreen! It is lightweight, absorbs fast, non-greasy or oily, and doesn't leave a white cast. It is a perfect every day sunscreen. It does tone-up your skin but I'm not sure why it says color-correcting. I also love that it is SPF50 which is perfect for the Texas sun. The packaging is also nice and I like the twist off lid. This is a great sunscreen. It is SPF 50 really effective, hydrating and color correcting, plus oil and oxybenzone free. There isn't much of a scent and it goes on nice and smooth. I live in FL, and wearing SPF everyday is essential. The sun is unforgiving here, especially in the Summer. This stuff works. I like the bottle it comes in. This goes on like a watery serum...no greasy film, no white cast, and it sinks in before you’ve finished brushing your eyebrows. I have combo skin and can usually feel sunscreen by noon, but this one stays weightless all day and even plays nicely under makeup. The finish is softly dewy rather than shiny, so it looks like healthy skin, not oil. My only gripe is the faint fragrance; it fades quickly, but sensitive noses should note it. The sunscreen is pretty good. It does well with protecting from the sun and it stays on the skin but needs to be reapplied after being in the water or over time. The texture feels like lotion but it took a bit longer than other sunscreens I had to blend well and be absorbed into the skin. If you don't take the time to thoroughly rub it, it ends up looking like blotches of white so I really had to take my time with this sunscreen. This sunscreen specifically says it's for the face, but the opening is too narrow and small. It took a bit of time to get enough to fully cover my face and neck and after applying again after some time in the water, the container was already 1/3 or 1/4 empty. I think especially for the price, it should reflect at least a larger volume of sunscreen. I don't think this sunscreen in particular matches the quality with its value. There's many other sunscreens that are less frustrating to use and offer a better bottle, size, and sunscreen within this price range. Read more
