The zippers are highly robust. You can overfill these covers over and over, and with effort you will still be able to zip them shut. Trust me, I have been experimenting with cushions and have put them to the test. The fabric feels robust, although I have been using them indoors. The fabric is breathable, or at least sheer, and you can sort of see thru it, at least the top layer. This is something to keep in mind depending on the colors you choose, I find that the yellow cushion can look a bit pale or worn if placed under the wrong light. Read more
