I'm a huge funko fan! I bought this thinking it would be like every Lego game. While certain aspects of this game are like a Lego game its not. This game doesn't give you any hints so you have to use your head and figure out how to solve the puzzles to move on and I love it. Funko Fusion for PS5 is... fine. It’s got the ingredients for something wild and entertaining—tons of licensed characters, quirky visuals, and that signature Funko charm—but the execution feels more like a novelty than a fully fleshed-out experience. The gameplay is serviceable: basic action-platforming with some light puzzle elements. It runs smoothly, and the environments are colorful, but nothing really stands out mechanically. The crossover appeal is fun at first—seeing characters from Jurassic World, Umbrella Academy, and more—but it wears thin once you realize the gameplay doesn’t evolve much. Combat is repetitive, and the level design feels safe. There’s charm, sure, but not much challenge or depth. It’s the kind of game that’s fun for a weekend, especially if you’re into collecting or pop culture mashups, but it doesn’t leave a lasting impression. If you’re a die-hard Funko fan, it’s worth checking out. Otherwise, it’s just okay. Read more
