You can Bob Barker them if you don't like the "surprise"
The media could not be loaded. After reading the reviews, you know what the "surprise" is, and I've gotta say, the seller is pretty ballsy (sorry, I couldn't resist) not to be up-front about it. That's clearly not a surprise that delights their entire market! I bought these for my 11yo daughter. She is about a 5.5-6, and they fit her just fine. I'm an 8.5, and I think they'd be slipping off my foot a lot during wear. There is also no proper grip on the bottom, so this is a potential danger on slippery tile or wood floors. I would NOT buy these for elderly or physically frail people in case of accidents. I don't see these kitties lasting years. The fabric is a thin minky-like fabric, and the foam base is relatively unsubstantial with no real foot support. They come in a very cute box, but if you're gifting, know that you won't be able to open the box to see them, before giving it to the recipient (it's one of those single-use, pull-this-cardboard-strip openings). They're cozy and warm, and they're adorable, but they're not utilitarian. One look at them will tell you that, though. That's not why you like them. My kid thinks these are the best things ever. She is thrilled with the "toe beans" inside the feet and the anatomical correctness under the tail, which she considers hilarious, but we definitely see why that's not everyone's bag (ughh, I did it again - it's just too easy). Don't worry, if you love the look of them, but don't want the anatomy lesson, the testicles are just pompoms. If you pull them away from the slippers, you'll see that you can carefully snip the threads, and your big boys will officially be neutered. It's slippers and an interactive vet's kit in one - what's not to love?! To quote the late, great game-show host, "This is Bob Barker reminding you to help control the pet population.
