I had high hopes for these gray dress pants, especially since they seemed perfect for work or business meetings. The stretchy rayon/polyester blend does make them very comfortable to wear—easy to move in, with a relaxed fit that doesn’t feel restrictive. I also appreciated the large, functional pockets and the convenience of the button and zipper closure combined with an elastic waistband. They’re easy to launder and have a casual professionalism that could have made them a work wardrobe staple. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The fabric feels extremely synthetic, almost plastic-like to the touch, and it doesn’t breathe well at all—which makes them uncomfortable during long days. The material is very thin and unlined, which not only feels cheap but also looks it. The stitching is also low quality; after just a couple of wears, I noticed loose threads and fraying seams. Overall, while these pants offer comfort and stretch, they lack the quality and durability I expect from business attire. These are comfy and look professional. They have good pockets and are sized ok. I’m probably right in between a medium/large, I went large and feel like they have a tad bit of extra room, but mediums in the brands have always been too small. The pants wash well and wrinkles dry out without issues. My only complaint is that they feel like “short” versions of a pant but we’re not advertised as short. I work in an office that has two buildings and I’m required to follow the business casual dress code but all day I have to walk back and forth between these two buildings besides working in my cubicle. For this reason I ordered these pants and wanted for them to be comfortable for this activity. Also, I need to have my phone with me so the pockets are large enough for my phone to fit inside but the best part is the pocket design that allows for a sideways pocket sleeve to have easy access for the phone to slide into. I’m 5’4” and I usually wear low heel or flat shoes and loafers and the length fits just perfectly. The caqui color matches almost any color of blouse. The last time I wore them I paired it with a dark green patterned blouse and it looked great. The fit on my waist and hips was perfect. I like that although the waist has belt loops it also has elastic waist band making it an easy wear for me. I love how the fabric is thick without being stiff and it maintains the comfort. It has a waist button and zipper too and they’re sturdy. There’s double stitching in multiple areas making it feel they are made with great workmanship. I own other so-called “high end” pants and these feel and look great in comparison. Overall I can confidently rate them with 5 stars. Read more
