Got this when our GSD was almost 2yo. She's now 3-1/2, weighs about 85 lbs, and is built tall and lean, with long legs, so she takes up most of this bed. She LOVES her bed. She snuggles into it at nap time and sleeps through the night. She rests her head on the bolster, she stretches out, she rolls over on her back and sticks her legs straight out into the air, she curls up practically into a donut shape, and she jumps onto it and flops down -- and it still looks great. No sagging or loose threads or worn fabric. Shepherds shed all year round so it gets vacuumed every other day, which can tend to cause wear and tear, but this bed is holding up very well. She looks adorbable as well as comfortable on her bed. We had a GSD before we got her, but didn't get an orthopedic bed for him until he was already slowing down from joint issues later in life. So she got one as soon as she stopped teething. It's paid off bigtime. I highly recommend this big dog bed for your big dog, even if he or she is still a pup and has to grow into it. Read more

What I did notice at first was the box was huge!!!! I didn't expect getting a jumbo size dog bed would be that big definitely getting your money's worth. I opened up the box, I did notice that there was a little tear in the edging of the creases nothing major, but I do know I won't be able to take the cover off to rip more even though it's already small, I'll just have to clean it another way. I took the bed out of the plastic wrapping (there was a ripped spot on the plastic wrapping, I don't think that should matter? I put the dog bed on the floor, and he went to it immediately and rolling around in it, he loves it. I have a sheltie and he loves how it's so comfortable and spacious. He does also have medical problems, and I'm happy that I finally found a bed that he's so happy with. I bought it so he stops going on my couch, and it's working. I bought this other kind of bed and for him it's too flat and it was a little bit on the smaller end. I figured it'll be easier to clean, but when he kept going up on my couch that was him telling me he wanted something way more comfortable and bigger. With this dog bed that's exactly what it is. Although there was a minor rip in the material, that can always be fixed he loves it and that's all that matters. There was also another plus side, I have 2 cats. With the jumbo size box the dog bed came in, my kids and I made a indoor cat house out of it. It also makes it worth it because it's free and made something amazing with my kids. My kids loved creating it they had so much fun. With the smaller dog bed it fit perfectly inside the box laying flat (the dog bed was folded in half because it was so big). The cats themselves loved the cat house. It both worked out in the end for all 3 pets, my kids and I dog gets a jumbo size bed and my kids and I cats get a indoor cat house. Read more

This is a great dog bed for giant breed dogs. Generously sized. My mastiff likes sleeping fully stretched out sometimes, and this bed fits him easily. The pad is nearly twice as thick as other jumbo beds I've tried, and nicely dense for better support. Well constructed and durable, too. This purchase was a replacement for the same bed. The first one lasted one three full years with a mastiff and bulldog both using it - often together. Read more

I decided before even opening the box to send this back, and I had to contact customer support because for some reason even though I’m a prime member it was telling me it was going cost me seven bucks for me to take it to my local UPS store for drop off. Oddly the representative told me they would just give me a full refund even though I hadn’t opened it and I did not need to return it. Of course the reasons for this could be many but I have a sneaking suspicion that it’s because it’s such garbage that the manufacturer doesn’t even want it back even unopened. Since they said I could keep it and didn’t have to pay for it I went ahead and opened it and it’s been sitting for about 12 hours and has just barely expanded. The pad can’t be more than 3 inches and I consider this total garbage and I’m thrilled I didn’t end up paying 60 bucks for it. I’ll probably give it away because our new foster dog who’s due to arrive next week deserves a lot better than this thing. So I obviously cannot recommend it. Read more
