My senior dog prefer a flat bed rather because they can either curl up or lay out and stretch. Must be comfortable because one of them sleeps on it all night. There was a two inch rip in the seam. I didn't return it because I can repair it easier than sent it back. Other than that, it seems to be well made. The foam is that egg shell foam that is used for mattress tops. I've previously made a dog bed cover and used the same foam. However, this one has a nice padded bumper on two sides for cuddling against or a headrest. The total with tax was $63, so pricey but I think worth the material of the mattress and pillow and the cover. The cover is just thick enough to not rip easily but thin enough to not be too hot or a hassle to wash and dry. It unzipped easily and rezipped easily. Beautiful color, exactly how I wanted, and cute paw indents. Super nice mattress and as soon as I put it down my collie wouldn’t leave it. She loves it! She slumbers hard every night and looks so comfy, especially with that pillow. Only complaint is that she’s a medium dog and 62 pounds and i got XL and it’s only the perfect size. I wanted a tad bigger than needed but I could actually benefit with a size up. A lab or shepherd would need bigger sizes for sure. So they sizes do run a little small. Otherwise does not seem cheap and is very cute and comfy for my dog, so I will be buying another to stay downstairs! Read more

Purchased this for our senior Shar Pei - Shiba Inu mix pup @ 40lbs. Such a well made bolster pet bed. Was $18. and the fabric outer cover in gray with paw print pattern is a good material made well. Zipper with pocket end tab to tuck in the pull tab. Really happy with the appearance, the foam did expand after 24+ hrs to full shape and pleasantly surprised stain resistant cover, pet fur vacuumed off . Most importantly our dog loves this ergonomic pressure relief bed & sleeps/rests well on it. Completely satisfied and will purchase again. Definitely recommend for any age pet. Read more

I only picked one star because I could not choose zero stars. I ordered 2 beds. They arrived on time; however, the foam pieces looked badly cut (chopped) and melted. The piece that went around the bed was not rounded and never poofed up after unpacking. Both beds looked worse than the one I was replacing. Then after I drove 25 minutes to a staples to return them, they insist one was missing and have charged me for one bed when BOTH were returned. I will never buy from here again! Read more

My dog loves this bed. Thick orthopaedic gives her excellent support. Bed is roomy so she can either curl up or stretch out and still be supported. The cover zips off and one easily and is washable. You can also run the vacuum over the bed to remove excess fur. My dog is a 52lb German Shepherd/cattle dog cross. Fit and long in the body. This bed would be good for a medium to large dog - I'd estimate anything from 45 - 85 lb. Anything smaller would be lost in the bed. Probable too small for any of the giant breeds. Note - give the foam a couple of days to fill out. The foam liner comes highly compressed for shipping and needs time to fill out, especially around the edges. Be patient. It will fill out. I gave this bed 4 stars for chew proof and easy to clean mostly because we just got the bed and I have been able to test this yet. I saw my Pomsky grab it during play last night and I think if she wanted to she could rip into it. Thankfully both my dogs are old enough they dont usually destroy their beds anymore. The fabric seems like it will do well in the laundry. I will update review if there are any problems. The best thing about this bed is that I have seen both my dogs AND MY CAT sleeping in this bed. Its unusual for my cat to sleep in a bed on the floor so he must really like. All three like to lean against the L shape corner padding. And my big 70 lb German Shep likes hanging her front legs over the front. The bed is a good height for her to cushion her back legs and hips while stretching out her front legs. Last thing. The paw print stritching is very cute. Very subtle. It would be cool if they did a contrasting thread color to make that beautiful stitching pop.
