Decent quality for price. Need to oil the screws
I think this is a decent lamp stand for the price. That said it does require self assembly. the screws included do not screw in unless you oil them. I used a bike chain oil...just a little but you could probably use an oil spray too or even olive oil. Once I oiled them they were pretty easy to screw in. Follow the directions and photos very carefully. While it seems simple one wrong move and you will be starting over. I was happy to see I could put a decent size lamp on it and still have room for a book and a small little decorative box...but it is quite small. I bought it to use in my bedroom. From a distance it looks pretty nice but up close its definitely not Baker furniture...and why should it be at this price. I would probably not want to use in my living room but for a bedroom its fine. Read more
