I measured closely before ordering because it was going in a small space. It was exactly as described. It is nice and firm, easy to open into a bed. The only thing is that is is rather small, allowing one person to sleep comfortably but tight for two people. And while, a tall person would not sleep well on it, I am short and it works fine for me. Nice and firm sleeper sofa! I bought this for my son as a day bed or relaxing couch in his room and I’m in love with it. He’s still young and sometimes I just gotta stay there for him to fall asleep at night. I fall asleep one night and decided to just sleep on the sofa instead. I thought my back would be painful when I got up but I was wrong. The sofa has maximum support for my back and my back felt relaxed! I wish my mattress could be this firm. Not all measurements are accurate. The futon cushion seat is only 6.5" and the cushion back is 5". Total length is 65". Seat bottom is less than 15" high. Straight forward assembly takes 20-30 mins, but I also used a power drill. The wood screws do not have pre-drilled holes, and I was afraid to split the thin wood frame forcing them in with a manual screwdriver, so I pre-drilled my own holes. Not really sure what the manufacturer intended - manually screwing into wood without a pre-drilled hole is hard work. The couch is lighter than I expected, so I was able to maneuver it myself, but I would recommend having help. The box is the full size of the couch - so it's quite the beast. Have not slept on it yet, but laid down for awhile. Very very firm. I don't think the split between the cushions will be an issue. Overall it looks nice and I think will serve the purpose. Read more

The legs are stored in a zipper on the underside of the couch. Never even needed to read the instructions to put this sofa together. A monkey could put this simple sofa together so prettily. Love this efficient little space saving sofa. Cute. Fits the space. Feels sturdy. Read more
This is a beautiful futon. I love it. I place a 2" twin mattress topper on it when I convert it to a bed to cover the crease between the two sides and it makes it very comfortable for my guests. Read more
