We live in Central Florida where the sun is brutal. My husband needed a broad brimmed hat to protect him from harmful rays. He found the Furtalk hat and has never looked back. The hat is 100% nylon making it quick drying and easy to wash. While the directions suggest hand washing, I throw it in the washer in a mesh bag. It did not need ironing as suggested in the instructions even though it came shrink wrapped. The hat is functional and well made. The hat has an inner adjustable system on the back side of the hat. He uses the adjustable strap to prevent the hat from coming off during his run. This is his go-to hat. I bought him a second one, also grey, so one can stay in the car. Read more

This arrived in a thin cardboard box, so I wasn't sure what was in it. The hat opened up nicely and provides excellent sun protection for your face. Very comfortable as well. The instructions referred to a velcro adjustment for head size, but the hat has no velcro. Instead, it has an elastic pull string in the back that can be tightened or loosened. Read more
