This DVD packs a lot into your exercise time. There are many unique moves throughout all the sessions--I've been following Jessica for several years now and I am still amazed at the variety she comes up with and that is most evident in this series. This DVD focuses on fusion style which is a blend of elements of yoga, pilates, barre, and traditional exercise. The 30 minute routines use a gliding disc, but you can use a folded wash cloth (if on a hard floor), paper plates (if on carpet) or even nothing at all. As always, Jessica shows modifications both on use of props as well as level of difficulty. There are three 30 minute workouts plus a 13 minute Pilates ab workout: Full Body Flow--This is a steady state cardio, a little slower paced than some of her similar workouts. It flows at a very nice pace. Tons of new moves using the discs. She includes quite a few planks and variations which I usually am not fond of but these are nicely done and easily accomplished with the use of a chair if you are so inclined. This is very good for a little cardio, a little strength, and flexibility. The moves will keep your brain engaged. Includes a few short stretches. Nice music. Note that during this routine I did have some trouble getting my foot off the wash cloth as I was sparkling a bit, so am considering purchasing the discs. Fusion Flow Sculpt--This is my favorite on this DVD. A very nice warm up starts off the session, then she moves to the sculpting and hits shoulders, back, biceps, triceps, legs, bum and even the abs with some standing twisting work. Use of the gliders/wash cloths work the muscles just a bit differently. There is also a good bit of balance in this routine which is one of the many things I like about much of Jessica's work. Lots of opportunities to scale up or scale down the intensity. I also like that she gives a break by changing up the moves within a segment before going to the other side as it helps to minimize leg cramps, back strains, etc. A great all round workout that's fun. Core Strength and Stretch--This is a unique and challenging workout that pushed me quite a bit (which is good to a certain extent). Quite a few planks; she starts out seated with crossed legs which is never my favorite way to begin a workout. Those who have knee issues may want to use extra padding in addition to the folded mat she uses to accommodate use of the gliders because there is a long segment on the hands and knees with no break for relief. She moves to some great ab exercises (I especially liked the eagle crunch) as well as a side lying leg series similar to Pilates and then a segment on the belly which also uses the discs. This is a routine that I'll need to keep working on to do well! Bonus Pilates Core Series--This is a great core routine that can be added to another workout (I did first time after the Full Body Flow which made a good combo although I did skip the second set of planks). I really like the pace of this workout. This uses a small Pilates type ball which makes for a wonderful variety of angles, etc. thus changing up how the core is worked. She also includes moves that target inner thighs, bum, hamstrings, and even a little into the shoulders. Great workout! Read more

Very pleased with the two workouts (Full Body Flow and Fusion Flow Sculpt) that I've done so far! Each workout offers something unique and Jessica is her lovely, motivating self! Setting is well lit, with window and patio door looking out to deck and natural surroundings. The space is calming, uncluttered and brings a happy vibe to see the Peanut statue in the corner of the room. The workouts themselves are very good and Jessica makes gliding accessible to most, by offering suggested modifications (clearly demonstrated) in each workout. The pacing is just right, allowing you to change out your equipment (weights, gliders, step, chair, mat) and transition between exercises. The variety of exercises offered is very well thought out, providing stretch, balance, stability, core strength, muscle toning and an overall good fusion feel for the entire body and mind! The length of each workout is also just perfect (as well as the number of repetitions in a set of exercises) to give you a good sense of accomplishment and challenge! I love this new workout from Jessica! I've had my gliders sitting around for ages and am finally able to use them. My favorite workouts from this DVD were the core strength and stretch and the bonus Pilates core series. There were some new moves that were challenging but not complicated. I would recommend buying gliders for this workout DVD. Most people already have the Pilates ball/playground ball from her other workouts but you only need the ball for the Pilates core series. She has some new upper back strength and mobility movements on this disc which are beneficial for me because I started a new job in a grocery department and want to keep my back nice and healthy. I was so happy to see Jessica made some new DVDs and I tried this for first time today-I love these types of workouts-they just feel so good and have zero dread factor.I used to do a lot of Cathe Friedrich workouts and while I still reach for them sometimes,I tend to reach for Jessicaβs DVDS more often these days since I just love her personality and she always comes up with fresh new moves .I also love the Florida scenery and always wish I could be there!!I canβt wait to try the other DVDs in this new set-I bought 3 others.This new Fusion one is amazing!! I will admit at this point i only did the full body and sculpting workout. When i first tried these workouts i had no experience with gliding workouts. I was a bit awkward but did both these a few or so time no and got the hang of it. I really love how challenging the planks are with the gliders but it's doable. Jessica is one of the best instructors in my opinion. She really is encouraging and is very inclusive she never intimidates and offers modifications acknowledging everyone has different flexibilities and issues. I have all the dvds in this series and i think so far i favor this one but they are all great. Read more

Although I generally love Jessica's workouts (I have every CD) and have never had problems doing them, these workouts are not for anyone with joint, ankle or shoulder issues. The Full Body Flow is extremely difficult as it's almost all plank work. Given I have torn ligaments in my ankles, an implant in one of my toes and an extremely arthritic shoulder, this workout did more harm than good. I have liked all the other CD's in her latest releases, but sadly I will have to pass on this one. Read more
