I bought this velvet jacket in burgundy to wear with my groovy 70’s costume for a groovy 70’s party. For an unlined jacket it’s a little overpriced but I needed it quickly and it arrived in 2 days so I paid up for that. The jacket arrived In great condition, not a wrinkle on it, ready to wear. It’s very nice and soft and I will definitely wear it again with jeans and a white t-shirt. I love the color, the length and the comfort. I got the red and it's really pretty. The length is fantastic I washed it in cold water and air dried it and it's still fine. Just know that although in the picture it looks really velvety it's more of a velor. Nonetheless it's a really nice piece I think. I'm typically a large and the large fits very comfortably. As a woman who grew up in the 60’s, I was looking for as many velvet and/or burnout velvet products that I could find, to add to my wardrobe. I live in an area that doesn’t often get cold, but occasionally, a lite jacket is needed once the sun goes down. Unfortunately, this jacket missed the mark in many areas! It arrived wrinkled and crumpled up. It had a horrible, chemical smell. And it looked nothing like the photo. The craftsmanship was poor, the lapels would not stay in place and it was quite simply an all around poor purchase. However, Amazon immediately accepted the return and offered a refund/credit. I had a red velvet sport jacket in the 90s that I loved and wore almost every day. Although I wanted the same type of piece, while I was browsing, I came upon this item. I have a short waist and am 5'5" 140lbs. "Long" jackets or sweaters don't look great on me and end up making me look shorter. I took a look at some of the other reviews and saw how great this jacket looks on other people, so I bought one. So glad I did! It's a nice weight, fit and color. I washed it and it kept its shape (hung to dry). You just need to be careful because the material does pick up fuzz and dog fur (fur mamma here). But, with a little help from my lint roller I was good to go. Thinking about getting it in a couple different colors! Great buy. Read more

Very comfortable, flattering and just feels chic. Layering with a dress for my bachelorette party but I will also be wearing it after in all kinds of outfits. I ordered the dark red and its a great color. Quality exceeds expectations. I don't love the look when tying the belt around but I tie it behind my back to pull the loops a little tighter and its very flattering that way. If you are on the fence just go for it. Read more

I ordered two things from this seller and I’m only allowed one review. I got the long “jacket” and the buttonless dress with front pockets. First of all, this robe (jacket is laughable, seriously) is so heavy and stretchy that it stands zero chance of looking good. Completely misshapen. The color isn’t terrible I guess but I didn’t actually see it in natural light. Sleeves are very long. Just overall frumpy. For the dress, I ordered this same style from another seller and this one. This one has completely different fabric— for the worse. It’s cheap and thin. I was actually just hoping that the neckline would be as long as it is the photo.
