The G Gradual Men's Athletic Running Shorts are a high-performance essential for any active wardrobe. Designed to handle everything from intense gym sessions to casual rounds of golf, these shorts combine technical fabric with a clean, modern look that works just as well on the street as it does on the track. Lightweight Fabric & Superior Comfort These shorts are built using a high-quality blend of 95% Polyester and 5% Elastane, which provides the perfect balance of stretch and durability. The fabric is specifically engineered to be moisture-wicking, pulling sweat away from your body to keep you cool and dry during heavy workouts. Despite being incredibly lightweight and soft to the touch, the material is rugged enough to withstand repeated washes and the friction of daily exercise. Smart Storage & Adjustable Fit One of the standout features of these shorts is the thoughtful pocket layout: Three-Pocket System: Along with two deep side pockets, there is a zippered phone pocket designed to sit flush against your leg. This prevents your phone from bouncing around or falling out while you’re running or squatting. Flat-Elastic Waistband: The waistband is designed to be low-profile and soft, ensuring it won't dig into your skin or leave marks. It also features an internal drawstring, allowing you to customize the tightness for a secure fit regardless of your activity level. Inseam Options: You can choose between 5", 7", or 9" inseams to match your style—whether you prefer the maximum mobility of a 5" cut or the added coverage of a 9" length. Multi-Sport Versatility The G Gradual shorts are designed to be a "do-it-all" garment. The clean lines and range of classic colors like Black, Navy, and Khaki make them sharp enough to pair with a polo for a casual lunch, while the technical performance makes them ideal for: High-Intensity Training: Running, sprinting, and gym workouts. Outdoor Sports: Tennis, golf, and hiking. Rest Days: The soft fabric and relaxed fit make them incredibly comfortable for lounging at home. Read more

My other half lives in shorts for half of the year. He does not like the shorter styles that seem to be popular now, so I always look for the nine inch inseams, which are getting increasingly hard to find. I grabbed these G Gradual Men's Running Shorts in the dark gray color and 9 inch inseam, and he is thrilled with them. He's not doing any running in them because he's not that athletic, but he said they are very comfortable, and nice and thin and airy. They are lightweight and the pockets are deep enough for his liking. One thing he complains about is pocket depth, and these are pretty deep. They even have an extra zipper shut side pocket which fit his front pocket wallet well without worrying about losing it. They have a soft waistband with a drawstring - another great feature. He's a big fan of a drawstring. These feel durable, and they are made of a quick drying (mostly polyester) fabric. Now, they will show a sweat spot on the lighter color until they dry out if your wearer has a sweaty nether region, but my main squeeze doesn't really care about that. Decently priced for the quality. Read more

I tend toward the upper end of medium; maybe a 33 or 34 in US sizes. I ordered a large and they fit, but barely. The leg openings rub a little on the front of my thighs, but the fabric is so light that I don't notice it. The fabric doesn't stick to my quads like cotton, so these should work for trail running or cross country. The crotch isn't tight walking up stairs or squatting, but it gets tight when sitting. The crotch seam is fairly high, so it gets all up in my business when I sit. This will be less of an issue if you have a trim derrière. The elastic waist feels perfect. I got the "Dark Khaki" and the color is pretty close to the listing photos. Maybe add a little rusty warmth to the color. The color has more of a "autumn" look than desert or beach. The pocket fits my iPhone SE with room to spare, though I doubt it'll fit some flagship phones. I barely feel my phone in the zip pocket. The main pockets comfortably hold bulky items like my earbud charge case. The weather here is 55–65°F and these shorts have a neutral warmth. Not breezy and cool and not insulating and stuffy. After washing, the lightweight 95% polyester fabric is very prone to wrinkling; perhaps due to the low humidity and static cling. They look like crumpled tissue paper. I don't use anti-static dryer sheets, though. Read more

I am beyond impressed with the G Gradual Men's Athletic Shorts. The 95% polyester and 5% spandex blend feels incredibly high-quality for the price, it is exceptionally lightweight and breathable, which is a lifesaver during intense leg days or humid outdoor sessions. The quick-dry fabric actually works; I’ve finished heavy cardio sessions and found these were dry by the time I finished my cool-down stretch. Unlike other athletic shorts I’ve owned, the zippered pockets are deep and sturdy, providing total peace of mind that my essentials won’t slide out. I recently took these on a four-mile trail hike followed by a quick session at the local tennis courts, and they performed flawlessly in both settings. The elastic waistband and inner drawcord kept them perfectly in place without any digging or discomfort, even with my phone in the pocket. If I had to pick one minor thing to improve, the inner tag is a bit large and can occasionally peek out or feel a little scratchy against the skin. However, that is a very small trade-off for such a versatile and affordable piece of gear. These have officially become my go-to for everything from the gym to casual weekend errands! Read more
