This review is for the G Gradual Men's Workout Gym Shorts with 2 Zipper Pockets 7"/ 5"/ 9" Quick Dry Athletic Running Basketball Shorts for Men, which were selling for $20 at the time of this review - SEE MY NOTE at the end of this review. Maybe it is just me because I am used to wearing Dickies and other similar "canvas" style cargo shorts, but these are REALLY thin material. Like so thin that I consider them more of a boxer underwear than outer shorts. I won't be ordering any more of these because $20 is too pricey for boxers, and these just aren't stout enough for me to wear as shorts. I will say that they are very comfortable and have just the right amount of stretch in the fabric. They also feel like they are quite durable, considering how thin the fabric is. Some people will probably like them for how thin they are but I am not one of them. NOTE - If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading products for honest reviews. NOTE that the items are NOT Free because Vine Members have to pay Income Tax on the value of the item, so the product is discounted but definitely not free, more like 1/3 to 1/2 price. As such, I don't order things that I don't NEED and USE!!! This is an important distinction because it should give you more faith that my reviews are not some fake nonsense boilerplate... I USE WHAT I ORDER, and I don't hold back if something is junk because I still had to pay for it... and this program actually bumped me up to a higher tax bracket in 2025, so it definitely wasn't free! After using these for several different workouts, I am most impressed by the fabric quality and the thoughtful pocket design. I got these workout gym shorts for my husband. Pros: - The pockets can fit a good number of items in them and they have a zipper pocket on each side which is great to keep things like your Apple AirPods or cash/wallet and the bigger pockets for you phone or keys, etc. - True to size and breathable - Stitched well and lightweight - Good quality materials used: 95% polyester, 5% elastane - Moisture wicking and dries pretty quickly - Elastic waist and drawstring allow for a more customized fit Cons: - None Overall, I would say that these are ideal gym workout shorts since they have everything that you could ever want in a pair of shorts to use for a workout. My husband loves these shorts. They are for working out, or just lounging in the house. Lightweight and quick dry make these great to wear at the gym or out fishing. Has an elastic waistband with a drawstring that is adjustable so you can make it comfortable while wearing. It is 95% polyester 5% elastane which makes these an easy to care for item. Wash in cold water and tumble dry low. The quality is great. The best thing about these shorts? The zippered pockets! My husband is always dropping coins on the couch and he just loves the zippered pockets. He is definitely buying more of these. Read more
