At 1st I was unsure but once I received them and put them on they are perfect. Not to short or to long, have great pockets that zip shut with an iPhone in them if need be. Have a liner inside so can be worn without undergarments if needed. Love all the colors and have recommended to others because these shorts work so great for about anyone and size inclusive. I finally found a pair of shorts that are the right length and fit for my body. I bought another pair on Amazon a while ago, brand new and I am donating them because they are high waisted and not for menopausal muffin tops like me. High waisted shorts are nice for younger, thinner bodied women but if you have a big waist line (no matter how much I diet) they look terrible on. I was very happy to find these shorts in fact I am ordering another pair. I jog/walk 6 days a week for 60 + minutes each time, these shorts do not ride up nor do the roll down. They are what I call "traditional running shorts", very comfortable and sit slightly (not much) lower at the waist. Nice pockets for your mobile device, nice light weight liner too. Ordered these on a whim and while the size and quality are good, I don't find myself grabbing them a lot. They are pretty short on me and feel like they might show my butt while I am working out.
