My wife really likes this tank top a lot. She says that the ruched sides give this tank top an attractive, interesting kind of style. This style also helps hide the stomach to some degree. In other areas, she says that the elastane in the fabric helps the tank top to be form fitting to a degree, and it accentuates one's shape well. She likes that the lyocell and elastane combination really help to make the top very soft and stretchy; it allows for easy movement. My wife says that she probably wouldn't wear it for a workout. She says that she would wear it for more casual occasions. She says that it does have somewhat of a "see-through" characteristic; she prefers to wear it with an A-shirt underneath. She says that the tank top does fit well. She says that the neck is just right; it is not too tight nor too loose. She also likes that the length falls below the waist. The manufacturer recommends that this top be washed in a bag in lukewarm water (or colder); then, tumbled dry on low. Read more
I want to like this top. I usually love this style and find it flattering on my body, but the sides pucker out for me at the bottom in a weird way. I think it might be a little too big for me, but I ordered the XS, and I typically wear an XS-S. I am 5'4", ~130 lbs, 32DD. I wear jeans in size 2, sometimes size 4 for wide leg style. I prefer ruched tops to be tight enough that they ruche all the way around. This tank top is a single layer of fabric, ruched at the sides where the seams are, and slack arcoss the front and back (maybe because it is too big?). Also, the sides at the bottom where the ruching is kind of turn up at the ends (maybe because the shirt is not fitted on me). The style would be very cute if it were fitted. I like the neckline. It has a high neck, but it is loose enough so that it is not restrictive. The material is stretchy and allows for free movement. I like the black color - it is flattering, especially when paired with ruching. The top is higher at the sides where it sits just under my waist and right about where my pants sit comforably, and the front and back hang lower hitting just about at my hips (if it were more fitted, the front and back might hit a little higher, but would still not expose my stomach/would meet the top of my pants). The ruching starts about 2 inches below the armpit seam and ends about 2 inches before the bottom hemline. It is made of 75% Polyester, 19% TENCEL Lyocell, and 6% Elastine. Washing instructions are to machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Based on what I have read online, this blend of fabric, especially when washed according to the direction, will hold its shape and is resistant to shrinking. Read more
Love the ruched detail on the sides - interesting detail that adds a feminine flare. Fabric is super soft and stretches but holds its shape. This is a fitted top and the ruching detail adds to the fitted aspect so… be sure to SIZE UP!! I sized up one size and it fits well. You could size up two sizes because of the ruching and it would also fit but slightly less fitted if that is the look / fit you prefer. Although there is no cotton, I washed and hung to dry to ensure there would be no shrinkage which worked perfectly!! While this is a workout top, it will also work as a casual top with jeans or shorts… or to layer under other clothing. The cut along the shoulders is also flattering making this a versatile wardrobe piece and not just for workouts. The length is also nice… covers the tummy but doesn’t come down too long in the back. Fabric is of good quality and with proper care should give years of wear. Excellent value due to quality, versatility, and price!! I highly recommend. Read more
This shirt is super thin and see through (I got white). I might be comfortable wearing it to workout in my house, but I don’t think I’d wear it to a gym. It is also tight…you may want to size up if you don’t want it to show every lump and roll. The ruching on the side adds a nice tough, the arm holes are not super low cut, and the length is good with a nice curved hem. Read more
Classy tank top! The black color looks clean, and the material is soft and fairly lightweight without being sheer, perfect for layering. It has stretchy side gathers and fabric with plenty of stretch. Fits a 36DD bust nicely. One drawback, the armholes are a bit large. Update: I washed the top a couple times and now the shirt is perfect! The armholes do not feel overly large anymore. I have worn this top several times… it’s classy enough to wear at work and comfortable enough to wear on the weekend. Read more
This is made with tencel fabric which is breathable and usually soft to the touch. I wish it was made with a little more than only 19% tencel but at least a little makes it better for sensitive skin. I tend to only buy polyester if it’s mixed with another more breathable fabric. I think this shirt runs small, I’m glad I didn’t order a smaller size. I’m usually between a small and a medium and sometimes size down for a tighter fit but this one to me seems shorter and tighter which makes it more stylish for a workout but also snug if you get the wrong size. The price is about average for a top like this or even a little less than usual which is nice. Read more
I liked this workout tank top more than most tank tops. I really appreciated the wide coverage on the back. It allows for you to wear most any bra with this. The material is incredibly soft and is moisture-wicking. I was afraid the ruched sides would make this look like maternity wear, but it doesn’t! It just makes it form-fitting and flattering on the sides. Based on my usual size, this top ran true to size. It is a tight workout shirt though, so keep that in mind. I ordered the black color and did not find it to be see-through. This would be fitting for a wide variety of workouts, except maybe something where you didn’t want the shirt to ride up in the front. It isn’t a cropped length but it’s not very long in the front either. It hit right at my waistband. Read more
