The packaging is the star of the show. The light and mirror are fun additions for a night out. The lip gloss itself is good but nothing special. It has a hint of color and subtle sparkle. There are some ingredients that should be noted. It has a coloring agent, tartrazine (yellow 5), that some people are allergic to. I don't typically wear a lot of lipstick, mostly because I like a natural look, and lipstick always looks 'off' to me. However, this brand and color works fairly well. On the pink side (I am not a fan of pink), but it is close to my natural lip color - someone who does not know me would not realize the shade is not quite right. This has got a pretty cool package, a small LED light in the bottom to help with the application in the dark. Very nice touch! I can't say enough about this feature, it's great in a pinch. The gloss itself doesn't feel sticky. The glitter is subtle and the color that was chosen is okay. I chose the "chestnut" color which itself is a more light brown. I think it's a great value. So GA-DE cosmetic line is new to me, I have not heard the name until I was offered an opportunity to review this lip gloss product in exchange for a fair review. This product line is not available at the various retail stores that sell cosmetics but it is available on Amazon and the GA-DE online retail site. This brand is apparently manufactured in Israel and I have to say the packaging was quite attractive and unique. I don’t think there is any brand sold in the US where a mirror is built into the side of the quasi glass/plastic container and a LED light is built into the inside of the screw cap. Both creative and innovative! Now as for the product, I ordered the Crystal Light lip gloss in color 155, chestnut because much of my makeup is in the tan or bronze family so this gloss goes well with any of the beige or bronze tones. It’s hard to explain the texture of a lip gloss but this one goes on smoothly, the texture isn't as light as say, a stick lip gloss for instance, but it’s not heavy or sticky either. The gloss is shiny with a hint of glitter, it’s barely noticeable so you can wear this gloss for work or an evening out. I felt like it was moisturizing and hydrating and made my lips feel smooth. It lasted several hours before I had to reapply but I don’t think it lasted quite as long as some of the more expensive brand names I have purchased in the past. This GA-DE lip gloss is available in a variety of colors and their other make up products are also available online. The price point is in the mid range and it’s the makeup light in the cap that definitely stands out from other brands, even the high end brands. All in all I liked this lip gloss, the brand is not well know but after trying their Crystal Lights Gloss I would definitely give their other products a try. Read more
