Wore this today for the first time, to test it out. I run hot and don’t like wearing any more layers than I need to. I also don’t like wearing sticky sunscreen. Today’s office was out in the sun in 83°F weather for the day, and the jacket worked pretty good. I did feel a little warm at times, but I didn’t perspire, and my skin was kept protected from the sun. The added bonus is how it elevated my outfit! It impressed me as nothing else changed — just the addition of this cropped jacket to my outfit. I can say I went from drab to fab, just like that. It inspired me to accessorize with a cute baseball hat and a sporty crossbody bag. A crisp, put-together sporty look. As for fit, I’m a true medium and the medium fit perfectly — comfortably airy all around. I was concerned about where the front flap would hit across my front, but it looks good. And the little elastic waist-cinching tabs work well, giving the option of a slightly different look. At 5’4” this cropped coverup flatteringly hits just below the waist for me, just covering what looks best covered. This coverup is flattering. It does have small pockets and although my phone just fits in it, I wouldn’t trust it totally with my phone. The only thing I noticed about the white color is that it is not a true white — it’s a slightly off-white, ivory color. But I really didn’t notice until I took it off and threw my white hat on it. I just adore this light weight jacket! Perfect for my spring/summer walks outside. I love the oversized look, it has pockets, and drawstrings at the hem of jacket that when you draw in gives a more cinched look. It’s so sporty and cute. I wish there were more spring colors. I have issues with sun exposure due to illness and searched hard for a super lightweight solution to protect me on steaming hot summer days. This jacket is my fave because it looks great, very elevated and cool looking compared to most protective clothing out there. Light as a feather but still structured. A great find! Read more
I guess on Amazon it recommends you the minimum size even if it will be big. I am 5'2" 120lbs. This is big for a small. I can live with the sleeve length as it's just a tad longer but under arms fir right. Length for me hits mid butt so not as shown in picture at above the butt. I will keep as purpose is to wear to the gym and avoid sun exposure. The blue is much darker than the picture. Material is good as I wanted something thin that does not make noise. Read more
