I have bought fabric shavers before and have not been impressed. This item works extremely well. I have used it several times, not just on sweaters, but on my expensive mattress cover that have become unsightly and I almost spend way too much money to replace it. Instead, I tried the Fabric Shaver and the mattress cover looks brand new. The charge is great. It charge quickly. Stores easy. I am in love my adult sensibilities could not wait to use this! I have a black winter hat that I absolutely adore but it has gotten lint and stuff all over it and it looks undesirable. As soon as it arrived I used it on the hate and it made it look brand new. I like the fabric shaver itself because it works very well and got 99% of the pilling off and without much work or time. I think the size is perfect not too large and not too small. The display is very bright and easy to read, the fabric shaver came charged 86% and I only used 2% battery to revive the hat on settings 1 and 2. Setting 1 was actually doing a great job but I wanted to see the difference especially on an area with a lot of lint and it powered through without any issues. It comes with a USB-c cord and a little brush to clean the shaver of fabric debris. It also is charging very quickly, in the time it's taken me to write this review it's charged from 84% to 99%. I like the flashing green lightening bolt that lets you know it's actually charging, I can't tell you how many times I've thought something was charging and when I went back to check it wasn't charging at all. It just hit 100% so I can say that the charging process is very quick and I probably could have waited those few minutes to test it out but my thirst was real. The fabric shaver restored the softness to my hat and now I'm excited to shave my summer sweater and my sweater that I commandeered from my Grandpa (because they don't make sweaters like that anymore). I don't know if I should but I stored the little fabric shaver brush inside the lint catcher so that it doesn't get lost, but you can hear that it's inside so you won't use the shaver while the brush is inside. It closed fine with the brush inside. I am getting my mom one she hates pilling on clothes and furniture. I have a lot of things I want to smooth out. I also feel that the fabric shaver is made very well, it feels sturdy and has a nice heft to it in the hand but not too much it's very lightweight but not cheap feeling. You will have this for years to come with proper use and care. I'll update the review with how long the battery lasts but as I stated above, it used a small amount of battery to complete revive my favorite H&M black hat I've had for yearsssss. The value is definitely much more than the price would have you believe. I would order it again and I think you should too you won't be disappointed. I love this! I have been having so much lint stick on my favorite leggings that don’t seem to completely come off from my lint roller and this took all of it off. I even washed/dried them again and they still don’t have any lint on them! Only con is that you have to be very careful or you can cut the cloth when keeping it on a spot for too long or not have it stretched out enough. I used this on my cotton bralette and it cut a small hole in it /: either than that it’s easy to use and empty. Read more

I cannot believe how well this fabric shaver works. It cleaned up my cashmere sweaters beautifully. I even used it on a 20+ year and chair and several cushions. I had to keep going back to admire how new it looks. Note - it ultimately captures shavings in the upper and lower sections so you have to empty both each time. I used a cuticle stick to pull out the fluff each round. I went heavy duty with use so each empty was densely packed. In a heartbeat I would buy a bigger version (with the same power) to avoid the frequent empties but was so pleased at how much work it was doing that it was more observational than annoying. This has 2 settings fast and slow and cuts the sweater nubs off the garment. It doesn't hurt the fabric at all. It works quick and compiles the nubs in a compartment to be discarded. Everyone should have one! Read more
