Beautiful fabric but CHEAPLY constructed

Positive: Beautiful fabric - stunning in appearance and lined on both sides (ribs not exposed). Negative: CHEAPLY made handle and mechanisms. Umbrella broke in first 3 minutes of use (inside - no rain or wind). The handle etc. are plastic and the release button did not push ever. There were tears where the fabric attached. It was difficult to open and close. The ribs which are hidden between layers of fabric (a good point) are plastic, not metal. This became obvious when in doing a trial close of the umbrella, one of the ribs broke and poked a hold in the fabric. A spectacular disappointment to me and my wife. Not recommended. Read more
