We have placed two of these in places where we wanted a good amount of light. They are attractive without being too ornate. I have been looking for walkway lights that are well made. Most lights out there have one major flaw, plastic! You can have the nicest looking lights but the part that takes all the weight of wind and weather, the stakes, are plastic and they will fail. These come with metal stakes, please don’t change that!! These lights are heavy, metal top to bottom, and extremely well made. I wondered why the price was higher than the others, I don’t anymore, they are worth every penny. Read more

It doesn’t hold charge too long , especially if it’s not on a perfectly bright sunny day without clouds. Even at that , It will only be able to light up for maybe two or three hours at best , and not very bright at all. Construction and materials are of good quality that’s why the one start or else zi would gave given a zero if i could. it is way overpriced for what it is. I am disappointed for what I paid and the amount of production I get from it. Would have returned it if I haven’t installed them and threw away the boxes. Read more

I've had a pair of these lights for 7-8 years and would still be using them with no issues if a naughty racoon hadn't taken an interest in them and broken the glass on one of them. I was delighted to find that the identical looking ones (operate slightly differently) were still available. They are extremely simple to put together (just screw together the durable metal pieces) and turn them on to the chosen brightness. It couldn't be much simpler. I also have other Gama Sonic solar lights and they are every bit as good. Read more

These literally cost $40/light. I expected a superior product. I received my lights and was excited to assemble them and get them on display. Much to my disappointment, On assembly (attempted), I found that the thread on the poles does not match the thread on the light. Only a single thread would turn in. I tried every section of pole and stand, none fit the light threads. Not good. I got out a little plumbers grease...no the threads do not match, no way. Thinking that I may have just got that rare defective pair, I returned them for another pair. The new pair arrived; once again, the threads are miss matched. I tied to think of a way that I could rig something. On second thought, these are advertised as high end and the price is high end. Why would I entertain fixing something that I paid top price for?
