First non-microsoft controller and have really enjoyed it. Been a few months now and no signs of any wear or defects. Nice touch to have a removable face plate to customize if you want. The included cord is long enough to reach about as far as youd reasonably sit from the xbox/tv. Read more

I'm quite impressed with my early experience using this controller. My main minor gripes are a preference for a bit more weight and a different surface texture, though the latter is identical to the official controllers. Crucially, the hall effect sticks and the exceptionally clicky buttons are a game-changer; they deliver an incredibly satisfying feel, almost like holding a compact arcade cabinet. While I haven't used the standard G7, this version has certainly made a strong positive impression on me. Read more

The controller was great at first. The build quality felt excellent despite the lower weight due to being a wired controller without a battery. However after only a month of light use, I went to use it the other day and it appeared to be dead. On further inspection it appears the gamesir cord shorted out and managed to fry the controller in the process. The cord won't even carry a charge and whenever I plug it into the computer I get an error message about drawing more power than the port allows....and that's just the cord with nothing connected to it. I have never in my entire life of gaming ever seen that message before. The controller, even with other cords is completely unresponsive. I was thrilled with this controller when I got it, but it was a bad choice. Definitely DO NOT BUY GAMESIR. It seemed too good to be true, because it was. Now I'm still going to end up biting the bullet and buying a more expensive controller, but now I also wasted 50 bucks on this piece of junk. Read more
