Usually when I don't use a base coat my gels last for 4 to 6 days (I don't really put that much effort into prepping my nails to make sure it last as I'm fine with changing it up every week). I've had my current gels in the pic for — i kid you not — 26 days. I did it July 3rd, it is now July 28th, no peeling, no chipping. The base coat is SO good at its job, especially considering I barely tried buffing my nail beds. Honestly I've already been itching to switch it up for weeks now but I can't be bothered to soak my fingers in acetone 😂 The builder top coat is also really good. It's thick enough, doesn't run, creates a nice glossy/jelly finish, and self-levels seamlessly. I was actually trying for a bumpy, uneven texture for my pearl-esque nails in the pics but the builder levels itself too well that I had to build up the bumps in multiple layers. Darn. The brush is also one of the nicest nail polish brushes I ever use, they're so easy to work with. Both the base and top coat have an inoffensive odor (they lowkey smell nice?). Hands down best builder gel ever. I’ve used a lot of different brands but GAOY’s are the best. True no wipe top coat and very easy to apply — also nice and thick on top which is something most brands seem to struggle with. After being a Nailboo user, I never thought I’d switch brands, but this gel is my favorite. I used base coat, 2 coats of GAOY’s shade 2982 for a clean, true natural pink, and 1 top coat of the builder gel. I cured for 60 seconds each and they feel so nice and sturdy! Read more

I have become a big fan of GAOY and this stuff is really great. For those who have tried the Jin.B crazy top thick, this stuff is exactly like that as far as consistency and longevity. I used them side by side and had I not labeled the swatch sticks I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between the two of them. I will be buying a lot more of this! The Jin.B Crazy Top is $29 for 25g (25ml) and this is 16ml for $7 so if you were to buy 2, you would be spending $14 and getting 7ml more product than with the Jin.B for $15 less. This is an AMAZING affordable dupe for those who don't want to spend money on expensive Korean products. I love how thick this is, you can use it to build structure, encapsulate, adhere rhinestones and crystals and it's a beautiful glossy no wipe top coat. Since buying this a couple of weeks ago, I have used it with 90% of the nails I have done. The only gripe I have is... This builder top coat is amazing! I was using the Beetles brand prior to receive this one, and while that one worked great it had a very off putting smell. The GAOY builder top coat is amazing! No strong smell, the application is smooth and self leveling with their new brushes! It leaves the nails super shiny with the added strength of the builder all in one! I think everyone should have this in their collection! Builder top coats are a perfect match top your chrome designs to prevent chipping or peeling. GAOY has become one of my top favorite brands on amazon (where I do majority of my nail hauls from). I will continue to purchase this over and over again! Oh and the price is very NICE. Read more

I was a little unsure with the thick top coat but this polish has been great! The shininess stays throughout the manicure and there hasn't been any peeling or lifting. I redo my nails at least every two weeks and most of my other brands get dull and scratched up during those 2 weeks so I usually have to touch it up mid manicure. But not this stuff! The shininess was literally the same on the day I did them and the day I took them off. Would definitely recommend! Read more

The brush is wonderful and smoother than all gel polishes. The bottles are easy to hold but are only labeled by the brush handle. The builder top coat is very thick- think regular gel, rubber base gel, builder top coat, builder gel (least to most thick). Read more
