Kinda paying more for the name I think. And not to say its a bad quality puffer vest, not at all. Honestly I've paid a premium price for a premium outdoor brand puffer coat before only to find myself with a ton of loose strings, increasing after each wear. The quality here IS good, and the look is on the money. It's not thick or cozy however, and works best for cold season as a layer, not a one and done option. The pockets are not zippered, and though I prefer them, maybe not ideal for a winter pick since you'll likely have your hands inside more often than not. Sizing: if you're on the slim fit side yourself, probably go with normal size , especially if you'll have a thick layer underneath. If you've got extra meat, go 1 size up, as it did seem to shrink, juuuust a little bit in the dryer. Read more

This insulated vest is warm and lightweight. The light color goes well with most undergarments so the vest is a versatile means of layering as weather requires--which it does frequently in Wisconsin fall and winter. The vest seems well constructed and should certainly withstand the activity of the 84-yo granny whom it perfectly "suits." That woman did wish to note that the sizing chart is decently reliable. She selected a medium size based upon her experience that larger sizes are generally better bets for fit, despite her smaller stature. With regard to this vest, smaller would have better for a more "hugging" fit. Even so, she likes it fine and is comforted to know the extra room makes another layer possible. As far as puffer vests go this one really leans toward the thin side. There's not alot of filling in there at all. Material is thin. Still functions decently tho. Seams are well sewn and it seems to be well constructed. Tag says wash in cold and dry on medium so that's a plus. I requested an XL since that's my size and it fits true. I can wear a jersey or long sleeved t-shirt underneath but it's really snug with a sweatshirt. Navy color is true. There are two hip pockets that are fleece lined just like the color. No pockets on the inside and no extra lining either. Rubberized logo patch on the left front shoulder area. Zipper is metal with a cloth pully for easy grab. Product is made for pairing with other cold weather clothing and would make a nice addition. Puffer vest style, good construction, true size and nice comfort. Price is a bit steep, imo, but it's GAP brand so...there ya go. As always, your wallets may vary. Nice quality product. Wish it were a bit thicker tho. Too thin, imo, for a puffer vest. Read more

This lightweight puffer vest is super comfortable, warm, stylish, and versatile. I’m happy to have it. The material on the outside of the vest is what you’d expect from a puffer vest. It’s somewhat shiny, slick, and crinkles a little bit when you move around. The inside fabric is thick, soft, and feels really nice. This is also the same material for the pockets. The zipper feels well made and moves smoothly. The stitching is straight and well done. There are no loose threads. The logo looks great and is also very nicely done. The fit is true to size. I got a size larger than I normally wear so I could put it on over a thicker shirt or sweatshirt. I travel north a lot, so this vest will be great for layering while I’m up there. I really like this puffer vest. It’s a good value, it’s flattering for something so puffy, has good durability, it’s well made, and all of the other good things I’ve already mentioned. This vest is super soft and comfortable. It is lightweight, but surprisingly keeps me very warm. I usually wear small/medium and ordered a small. It was form fitting when zipped up. If you like a baggier look, I would definitely size up. It is well made and a great value for the money. Overall, I would definitely recommend this vest. Read more
