This is an excellent quality floor mat that I use primarily for mechanic work. It prevents any oil spills, etc from reaching whatever ground/concrete/flooring you are working over. The top is made of a compact, absorbent fabric that soaks up any spills and the back is made of a rubber to prevent it from slipping and moving around while providing the barrier necessary to prevent the spills from going through and making a mess. The floor mat is a nice size and can be cut into smaller pieces if desired. It's also a good thickness compared to others I own and should be very durable over time. It also can be cleaned up with a water hose and your favorite dishwashing liquid quite easily. Read more

Does a good job. It's been two weeks and I am still waiting for the wrinkles to fall out like they claim. Not a big issue, but a little annoying. Read more

I am very impressed with this garage floor mat! The generous size of 36"x60" and the quality of materials make it an excellent value. The top surface is a carpet-like absorbent fabric, while the backing is heavy-duty rubber that keeps it firmly in place. I’ve found many uses for it — from placing it under my old truck to catch any fluid leaks, to using it as a protective surface for auto body parts during a restoration project. The edges don’t fray or crack, and the waterproof layer effectively blocks oil, gasoline, or transmission fluid from seeping through. This is a durable, multi-purpose mat that does a great job keeping surfaces clean and protected from spills, leaks, and dirt. Read more

Would probably be a good mat for unfinished garage floors. However I have finished floors and it just slid all over the place Read more

Doesn't adhere to my garage floor as stated in the ads. I am going to have to tape it down as it will become a tripping hazard. Read more

I laid this down in the shed where I park a riding tractor and store a few generators, and it’s been exactly what I was hoping for: easy to work with, tough enough to live under rolling equipment, and absorbent with a legit waterproof backing. When I took it out of the packaging and installed it, it unrolled cleanly and wasn’t overly stiff. I let it relax on the floor while I did a quick sweep, and the creases worked themselves out fairly quickly. The dimensions matched the product description and the cut was relatively square, so placement was simple. The waterproof backing has just enough grip that the mat doesn’t walk around when I drive the tractor over it. For my use, it stayed put on its own, but I did tack a few spots with a pneumatic stapler and upholstery staples to lock it down since this is a shed floor. I would think that most people won’t need to do this. So far, the surface fabric feels dense and absorbent. It’s handled the usual mix of moisture coming off tires and a couple of small drips without spreading or seeping through. The backing clearly stops liquids from reaching the floor, oil included. It’s flexible enough to lift a corner, sweep underneath, then drop back down without the edges curling. Driving the tractor on and off hasn’t scuffed the surface or de-laminated the backing. No obvious fraying at the high-traffic spots. The waterproof layer is the star, it does not have a slick “plastic sheeting” feel and there have been no slipping issues for me. The edges are a little rough compared to mats with bound edges. In a garage you might notice it; in a shed, it’s a non-issue. If it bothers you, a quick trim with a sharp utility knife cleans it up. Dirt and debris vacuum up easily and a quick shake gets rid of the dust. If I ever need to deep clean it, the construction looks like it’ll tolerate a hose-off and air-dry without any issues. Pros: Absorbs well, backing actually blocks liquids, lays flat, sized accurately, and durable enough for a riding tractor to cross daily. Cons: edge finish could be cleaner. That’s the only real nit keeping it from five stars. The bottom line for me: This is a very nice, genuinely useful mat for garages, sheds and utility spaces. It absorbs, it protects, and it stays put. The edges aren’t pretty, but I think that performance matters more with something like this. I would for sure recommend this if you want to keep a floor clean and dry without too much worry. Read more

This mat is great at absorbing all your garage liquids from oil to coolant. I have it under my motorcycle that leaks a bit of oil from time to time. This can also be put under a leaky engine also or even lawnmower. The material is great quality and the edges are solid. This may soaks up any odor from the fluid. Nonskid on cement which is a great option for us. I’m sure this can be washed. Or just hung out in the rain. I will be ordering more soon. Read more
