I’m only knocking off one star because these suckers are huge and they don’t have rounded edges, so it makes swallowing a little tricky. But this hasn’t caused any stomach upset, it has improved my energy, and I love that it’s only a once daily supplement. I wish this brand’s prenatal vitamin was only once a day and not 4. My OB said that I am able to take this as a prenatal due to the amount of folate that is in it, along with a choline and DHA supplement. I just hope that when I do get pregnant, this won’t make me sick because I love taking this vitamin and brand and like I said, I don’t want to take 4 a day, so I’ll have to find a different brand if so. Fingers crossed! UPDATE: I noticed that as I was finishing up my first bottle, taking this vitamin began to make me feel as if I would gag, so I am switching to something else. I ordered a bottle of the multivitamin for women because many years ago I was taking whole food vitamins and loved them. Vitamins are hard to review early-on because they take a while to do their job but after a couple of weeks taking these, I do see an improvement in my energy levels - I don't feel like I need a mid-day nap as before, anyway. Because I have a sensitive stomach, I break each in half to take a half in the morning with breakfast and half at lunch, and I have zero stomach issues that way. The vitamin smell and texture are as expected, the smooth outer coating helps it go down, and they are basically tasteless so that's a plus.
