For the price of 1 VS pair, I got 6 and they are - no lie - just as good. I always bought the signature cotton ones from VS but these are cotton rich also and I'd say might even fit better with the higher/longer rise that I like. I'm sure both the expensive name brand ones and these are made in China so I can't justify paying more just for a name. That said, the VS pairs last so it remains to be seen if these will wash well and retain the elasticity; but for now, they are comfortable and stay in place without rolling! Nice quality they are very soft but runs large. After reading the reviews I decided to order a medium rather than a large, I have a 29-inch waste. When I received, I was sorry I didn't order a small, they are very high wasted, that is my only complaint. Women's undies are difficult. Figuring out cuts that will agree with my body shape, in materials that will be comfortable and breathe is enough of a project shopping in a store, but is even more difficult online. On top of that, being someone who doesn't want light colored undies, or lace and bows, it's nigh impossible, especially when wanting to stay on a budget. I took the risk with these, knowing that most of the thongs in my drawer were on their deathbed, and these are doing a great job and fitting all the requirements. I realized high waited is not for me since I’m just under 5ft. They’re soft, I was hoping they would help tighten around the belly, but no. The reason for the 3 stars, the edges, stitching is a bit bulky, on a thong that’s a little too much fabric. I don’t grab for them often, unless I have a pair of pants that require them.
