We have covered our house in lots of these rugs for our dog who had surgery recently. This rug has held up well and survived a couple of washes without issue. It does hve the rugger back not the blanket back, which definitely helps it hold up in the wash and not move around a ton on the floor. I have ordered several of these types of carpets from Amazon and this is just as good as any of them that I have. It's a low pile, soft rug. It has a rubbery silicone back that grips the floor well and does not slide around. It's great for protecting hardwood floors in an entrance or down on a small hallway to save on traffic area wear. I haven't had to wash them yet, the smaller ones should do okay in the washing machine. They don't hold stains and they're easy to clean with vacuuming and rubbing with a little soap or spot cleaner when necessary. I really like these rugs. Pros-surprisingly super soft, rubber non-slip backing, pretty color (I got light gray, it is a very bluish gray). Cons-its very thin. I am using mine as a bathmat, so the rubber backing was a must, we have used it several times getting out of the shower & it holds firm. It is absorbent enough for what I need & super soft. The color is almost blue which is fine for me, my tile is blue, but if you are looking for a more neutral gray, this may not be the color you want, it is not at all the color in the picture. I was not surprised by the thinness as it wasn't expensive, again...for me this works well b/c i will be washing it often since I am using as a bathmat. I don't think it would hold up well in a high traffic area. I can see it more used beside the bed as opposed to in the kitchen by the sink or stove. Read more

I am pleased to share that the GarveeHome 2X6 Hallway Rug (see photo), which arrived a week ago, looks exactly as advertised in the product photos – including the color and pile descriptions. I chose the beige/taupe version for use in a high-traffic hallway connecting bedrooms and bath. I appreciate that the rug’s non-slip backing holds firm on my laminate plank floors and that the pile is soft and (so far) shows no signs of shedding. I haven’t had the rug long enough to run it through the wash, but I’m glad to have that option (although, I think the rug’s neutral color, shadings, and pattern will minimize that necessity). There were some residual folds in the rug from shipping, but those are gradually dissipating. Conclusion: accurate product description, attractive and functional rug, good value for the price.
