I bought this bed for my 14-year-old chihuahua, Paisleigh. Comfort is key for her, as she loves to get snuggled up in blankets and comfy spaces. I thought she would like this bed because of the blanket on top, which is a nice touch. She loves going underneath and hiding from the world! The sides of the bed are very soft and plush. The bottom is also plush, but the material is not as soft, which is probably my only complaint. The bed was big enough that it took up an entire couch cushion. The media could not be loaded. Still a great bed for small dogs who burrow. My only complaint is that the sides of the bed have way less padding/stuffing than they used to, but that’s isn’t an issue for a small dog like mine. The thinner style also makes cleaning it easier. The zipper functions well and this bed works both open and closed. My dog has had the option for both the older thicker bed and the new one, he seems to sleep great in the new one while staying warm. I can honestly say that I have too many puppy beds in my house. I have 2 furbabies and they have a bed in almost every room. I purchased this bed for my new baby and she loved it so much I bought another one, when I brought her home a fur sister. Although the first claims both for herself. I can see me buying more of these in the future. I can see why she loves it though as it is the perfect size for her and it is super soft and fluffy. She looks all warm and cozy in it. This bed is so great we give it as gifts and have two for our dog! The cover on top easily zips closed and our sweet buy can snuggle under and feel cozy. It has held up well over the past year and survived many washings. I love that our pet stays warm under the cover but can easily get out and in on her own. Worth every penny we spent! Works great! This canopy dog bed looked like it might be Oscar’s throne—but in reality, it’s more like a dollhouse accessory for a very tiny pup. The construction feels flimsy, seams are weak, and the canopy doesn’t stand up like it promised. For a dog even remotely the size of Oscar, it’s a tight squeeze that turns “cozy” into “claustrophobic.” Aesthetically, it might earn a few Instagram points, but functionally, it fails the one job it’s meant to do: provide a comfortable, supportive space for your dog. Weve only had the bed a day and i can already tell the issues that were going to have with this bed. The walls of the bed are not very sturdy. I was hoping for a little bit more so that if my dog leaned against it, it wouldnt just roll the whole bed over. Theres also not a lot of padding, in it either. Depending on how you look at it that could be good or bad. Probably easier to machine wash, but like above not a lot of cushion. The blanket doesnt cover enough of the bed IMO, but i knew that was going to be an issues before buying it. And why does the blanket have a zipper? It makes no sense, plus it doesnt stay zipped. My dog pushed into the bed and the zipper opens up ruining the blanket-cave effect. This is why i marked it to a 3 star. Everything else above i can get over. But not this zipper. Its the worst.
