I ordered 2 pairs: size medium in both royal blue and black. I am 5’ 4,” ~185 lbs, and have an hourglass figure (though not super toned at the moment lol). As I was finishing up writing this review, I realized that my black pair also have similar marks in the fabric that the blue pair has.. I was intending to return them for what I thought were runs in the fabric. I will update this review soon to address if the lines go away or if they are truly runs. The blue pair has definitely been worn, though. Don’t get me wrong, they slipped on like butter. SO comfortable, didn’t slip or slide down anywhere, and weren’t super willing to show off cellulite (even in blue!). When I tried on the black pair, I realized the blue had absolutely been a return based on how much more compressing the black pair was, even just to get on. They still fit and I will keep them, but they’ll 100% suck you in nicely! Lol. I expect these to give a little over time and loosen up a bit, but I don’t expect that to be bad at all based on how perfectly the blue pair fit. I’m actually looking forward to it! This fabric is a medium-ish thickness workout material, and I am very happy with the quality (on the first try-on anyways lol). I don’t think these will take on holes easily. Worn in or brand new, they will both suck you in nicely, hide imperfections well, and neither pair were slipping down when I walked around with my phone in my pocket. I am a tight-wad when it comes to buying clothes since tj maxx has like $12 leggings, but I think these are worth the price (and I got them on sale!). I really feel like they will last a long time. I will update if anything goes wrong w that hope!! Lol. Hope this helps. UPDATE 1 YR LATER: The “runs” in the black pair were I think just wrinkles or creases? I ended up keeping them, and I totally forgot about this bc I have never noticed this issue on them anywhere since! I returned the blue pair and ordered another pair of the same. Those blue ones were just not working for me. The fit was worse than the first pair, and I remember wishing I had just kept the ones I started with. I returned the replacement, and just ordered another black pair instead. The second black pair fit me like the first blue pair did. Stretchy, comfy, and slipped on and off with no issues, but they were not as tight as the first pair of black ones. I kept both black pairs bc they both still fit well and I loved the quality. CONCLUSION: 9.5/10⭐️ High quality material.. I always end up with holes in the thighs of my leggings and jeans after wearing long enough, and after wearing these black pairs regularly for just over a year now, I have no holes in either and the fit has stayed largely the same in both pairs! These beat the TJX leggings because these really do stay up on your hips very well. Even with the more “comfortable” pair, I don’t have to pull them up nearly as much as I do with the TJX leggings that I adore. -.5 star because the fit is not the exact same in every pair. I prefer the more compressing fit personally, and the second black pair is still compressing around the waistband, but not nearly as much as the first pair. These are nice, but they are huge. I’m actually really upset because now I have to order more because I can’t be wearing leggings I need to pull up all day as I’m walking. I’m 5’6” and 220lbs, very hourglass shaped, and I always wear large. Well here I must be a medium, because the large is so big I can fit my arms down with my legs and they just aren’t snug at all, don’t hold me in and like I said, I have to pull them up as I walk around through the day.
