If you are going to be using your buds to walk briskly and go on runs and work out at the gym, these are 1000% for you because they WILL NOT fall out of your ears. It uses a very clever technique to secure it to your ear. If you are going to be mostly using them when you're sitting/walking occasionally, or just straight up relaxing you DO NOT need these. I mean, get them if you want, but I promise after you've had them in for an hour or something you will start to feel it, and it starts to kind of hurt. When you working out or whatever you'll probably barely notice the discomfort, but while trying to recline and relax? It's just too much. Not necessary. I'm a bit of a hybrid, health has me laid up right now so I haven't had to use them for a while, but I will use them if I have to take a walk to the store. Better to be safe than sorry. Oh! Also, they are super easy to install, super self-explanatory. Here's the only issue I had though: you can't keep them on and fit them back in the pod, you have to put them on and take them off after every use and that can be a pain as well as giving you another thing you have to look after throughout the day (they do offer a little pouch you can put them in and hook it up to your keychain, which I have). My buds constantly needed to be fiddled with so they wouldn't fall out. I tried replacing tips, the over the ear hook things, you name it I tried everything. These little suckers work perfect; my buds are secure and comfortable. The big pluss is that I can wear my glasses, something I couldn't do with the over ear hook style. These are great. Read more
These work well and are comfortable for about 1 hour of use for me. I am happy to say I would highly recommend them to anyone who, like me, struggled with these earbuds coming out on their own over a short time. I missed the Galaxy Bids + and those older designs because they stayed in and sounded good. With these silicone in-ear hooks, they stay in and are relatively comfortable. The only real downside to these is that you need to carry them in their own carrying case, which also holds your earbuds. If they fit within the charging case, these would be absolutely perfect. They provide three sizes and fit quite well so I imagine you will also have no issues finding a size that works for your ears. The downside is they take a few extra seconds to line up and put on the earbuds, but again, this is a reasonable compromise considering they solve a major design issue with these earbuds. Maybe one day Samsung will design them to fit comfortably and not require 3rd party accessories almost every generation, but I doubt it. I highly recommend these as they are comfortable and keep the earbuds in. They don't seem to interfere with the microphones or ear canal sensing features either. I was honestly on the verge of selling my Buds 3 Pro with a heavy heart. They are, hands down, the best earbuds I’ve ever tested in terms of sound, but I had a major issue: they just wouldn't stay in my ears. They kept slipping out constantly, which made them impossible to enjoy. These ear hook covers completely solved my problem. They provide a secure, snug grip that keeps the buds locked in place regardless of my movement. The idea is great in securing the buds in your ear but these things don't fit into the charging case so you have to take them off every time you need to charge your buds. Gcioii does offer a small rubber case to store the hooks when not in use but it's a extra step to perform and one more thing to keep track of. Read more
I have these for my Samsung Galaxy buds 3 pro and they're amazing. I'm a sweat runner and weight lifter, plus headphones/earphones all fit so differently, so having an option like this is great. They fit well, great for short or long runs (3k-15k or marathon), great for ploymetric training. Simply put, they're comfy and don't allow the earbuds to fall out. These ear hooks make it so I can finally enjoy and use the buds. The noise cancelling is greatly improved and I can eat and talk without the buds falling out. The included carry case is ideal because you do have to remove the hooks when you put the buds in the case. It's worth it with the improved usefullness that these bring. Read more
