We really like this GE 1050w Microwave Oven. We choose it because it have a comprhensive set of cooking features and and seemed to offer substantial value at that price point. It's a nice compact size but quite powerful, easy to use control panel and the Air Fry function was an extra benefit and works well too. Our last Japanese brand microwave oven last almost 20 years so hopefully the product reliability will be there for the GE one. I would have like to have a more detailed user manual included with the product. We've only been a it for a little over a month and I plan to provide a more detailed review in the future. Read more

I searched many microwave reviews and decided that this GE Convection Air Fry microwave fit my needs the best. I wanted a space saving appliance that can do more than just microwave. I wanted an air fryer so when our microwave broke, this seemed like the perfect solution. The microwave is more powerful so cooks faster. The air fryer feature works great and it came with everything included: air fryer racks and round baking pan. I love that the inside is stainless steel instead of painted so it won't chip and is easy to clean. Read more

This review is for GE B0C1N64KBX 3-in-1 Countertop Microwave Oven, 1,050 Watts, Air Fryer, Broiler & Convection Mode, 1.0 Cu. Ft, Stainless Steel. I purchased this microwave so that I could replace my GE Cafe Advantium over-the-range microwave with a commercial-style hood. This microwave has a large 12.4" turntable with 13.98" W x 9.49" H x 13.23" D interior cavity dimensions. These dimensions work out perfect for everything I have ever needed to place in a microwave. The exterior dimensions of 20.6" W x 11.875" H x 16.6" D also worked out for the space I needed to put this. The power cord is attached to the upper right corner (as you are looking at the front of the microwave), and the cord is about 4' long and heavy gauge. So, you may need to do a little bit of planning for placement. It was packaged very well, so mine arrived with no issues. I have only used the microwave feature so far and just a handful of times. This microwave is significantly more powerful than my prior one, which was rated at 925 watts. Now I know why professional reviews recommend 900 to 1,000 watts. So far, I have had to stop the microwave early anytime I used any of the presets. I will have to go through the owner's manual and see if I can turn the power down for the presets. I never used any of the broil, bake, or speed cook features of my Advantium microwave oven, but I may try some of the other cooking features on this one. Also, it is impressive that this has cooking features like convection bake, air fry, broil, and so on. This microwave seems well put together, and it looks nice. Overall, it is a very impressive microwave, and I am amazed that you get so much for the price. There are some things that could be better. The front control panel is very glossy. It can make it difficult to read the controls when there is direct light shining on them. Also, there are limitations on the options the preset controls give you. I would have liked to have seen more options. The best controls I have ever seen were on my microwave that I replaced. It had buttons and a selector dial. It had a very extensive list of options for reheating, cooking, and so on. It was also a much easier control to use. I also need to see about being able to reduce the power for the presets. Overall, I am still going to say this is an impressive microwave that is made more impressive by the additional cooking modes. This 3-in-1 microwave oven is hands down a perfect option for dorms, break rooms, entertainment areas, or small spaces where you need the ability to cook/reheat. The price is outstanding, and the build quality seems good. Time will tell how it holds up. I will update my review the more I use this and if I get around to trying some of those other cooking modes. Read more

The idea of a single appliance that microwaves, bakes, broils, air fries and even allow simultaneous convection baking with microwaving is exciting, but this design requires extreme care in handling. I am ordering two oven mitt/gloves to handle any food cooked with any of its functions other than straight microwaving. All other modes require reaching into a narrow space that is hot on all sides to remove or adjust food. Think of getting hot food out of a small toaster oven that has no slide-out tray. It comes with two very light wire racks required for air-frying and other modes. Food place on these racks further narrows the space through which you must reach. The racks slide off to the side of the rotating platform very easily. To make matters worse, those racks are each three-legged, so one wrong move and the rack tips to can cause the hot pan to fall toward you or backward so you have to reach both hands into the hot chamber awkwardly to set them right. If the racks had a continuous ring as a base, it would be much more stable. What were their engineers thinking? The controls and instructions for the various modes are not well-written and discovering how to adapt your cooking to the combination mode, in particular, will require experimentation. Right now I plan to keep it, as I enjoy a challenge to act mindfully, which this appliance requires. It is useful as a microwave, but I would sure not recommend its extra functions to anyone who sometimes acts in haste, has kids or a unsteady hands. Read more

Admit, I bought this oven primarily for its size, but am finding its versatility impressive. The, “combi,” mode, in particular, makes for the best mixed vegetable dishes. I cook raw, cut up, seasoned and olive oil spritzed root veggies for twelve minutes, then add frozen vegetables to the same glass roasting pan, spritz once more, toss and cook for another twelve to fourteen minutes and they’re delicious. The air fry mode works well, too. The oven is quiet, and the lights are not annoyingly bright. Am finding the buttons easy to read even for my older eyes (I don’t cook in the dark) and the hot oven warning beep stops immediately upon pushing the, “cancel/off,” button. Looks nice on the counter, too. Overall, consider it a fabulous value and a fine replacement for my microwave. Am thoroughly enjoying this new oven. Read more
