This is the perfect cable for my desktop audio system. I have had an Audioengine D1 DAC for a few years. And it requires an amp for power to my Boston Acoustics bookshelf speakers. I ditched the 6ft MonsterCable RCA cable for this neat and tidy 1ft GEARit RCA cable. Not only does it look great, it sounds great. Tested this high-quality cable with Amazon HiRes audio. I didn't expect much from this set of RCA cables but am very pleasantly surprised. I got the 50' length to cover the distance from my desktop PC to an old Bose sound system that I've had forever. I was concerned the sound would get mushy or distorted between the source and receiver but not so. A few adjustments to EQ settings and bam! nice rich warm sound coming through. The braided exterior shielding on the cable is good, not great but definitely serviceable for my purposes. I have the cable running through a plastic cord organizer along with several other cables including catnet and printer cables (not power supplies) and have not experienced any bleed over or interference thus far. The RCA male jacks at either end of the cable are moulded plastic and look well made, not crappy or likely to come apart with normal use. I would recommend this product to anyone putting together a modest stereo setup. If you're doing a high end music system with really expensive components you'll probably want more substantial cables to ensure minimal losses in sound quality. That said, these are working perfectly for me and well worth the price for my particular purpose. Read more
Decided to avoid buying cables from some anonymous 'alphabet soup' company and instead ordered a couple of these bad boys to hook up my desktop speakers & subwoofer. The quality is much better than I expected with thicker than usual cables (due to shielding) & gold-plated connectors that feel solid/ secure when you plug them in. Braided cables are substantial looking, but are also extremely flexible & look like they'll outlast my hardware, for sure. No humming, pops or hiss from my audio system at all, so I'm a pretty happy camper! Read more
Good cables, nice and strong. Used in a truck to connect the radio preamp to the amplifier under the seat. Braiding on the cables makes it so you are not as worried when pulling them through holes in the dash and under the carpet. Probably could have got the 10 foot ones, but used the 15 foot to make sure I had enough length for the run. Read more
